Nightmares, early 80s anthology horror. The crappy graphics come out of the game to attack him. The film also has Lance Henriksen as a priest being hunted down by a demon jeep driver.

Doesn't sound like the most embarrassing thing Estevez has attached his name to.

Think I might re-watch Maximum Overdrive at some point. See if it holds up as an astoundingly shit but fun flick.

I rewatched it last year I think. Along with Trucks.

Was going to get a haircut this morning but they were showing that fuck-awful Tim Lovejoy Sunday Cunts programme and there was a bit of a queue so I left.

You know you want to.

Dear Matty,

I watched a film and quite liked it. But I saw Amy McDonald say she hated it on Twitter, am I still allowed to like it?

My stomach has been gurgling and rumbling at me all day.

I think it's its way of saying, "Enjoy that Indian last night, did you? Hope you did, because I'm going to make you suffer for it later, boy."

This has always made me laugh even since I saw the trailer - love how Marky Mark has clearly forgotten his lines, a la Joey from Friends.

A mate popped by to see me whilst I was making tea.

So I was getting ready to take the food out of the oven and stuck my plate in the microwave to warm it up - and my mate gave me a look of bafflement mixed with disgust. It was like I'd curled one out on it instead.

But seriously though, someone please tell me I'm not the only person to do this?

So... you need your plates to be as hot as the food that's on it, and your chocolate to be cold enough to freeze The Thing.

You're a fucking freak.

I do this, and my old flatmates used to take the piss out of me. I don't know why, because it makes complete sense to warm up a plate before you put hot food on it.

I'm not really a fan of having my food turn cold quickly, but seem people seem to be happy with it.

Odd that you mention this just now, one of my old flatmates left a message for me on facebook just last week saying she'd microwaved a plate to take the chill off it and had thought of me!

It's probably rarer as a natural thing at home, but there's a reason good restaurants serve food on heated plates. Esp if there's a sauce or gravy involved.

No, not as hot as the food, but warmed enough so you take the chill off the plate but you can still hold it. And it was a pizza, so there.

Yeah, I don't think he was going to follow my example.

Having said that, my old flatmates at uni still take the piss out of me today because when we first moved in together I used to keep my tins of food in the fridge.

I do that with rice pudding because the colder, the better. I cannot and will not eat warm rice pudding.
