You brought it on yourself. I never would have even considered it if you hadn't said that.

A couple of weeks ago I had to pull out of voting in the Hall of Fame. I said you'd probably be glad I didn't vote when I showed you the reason why. Well here it is - hopefully you'll enjoy it. If you do, could you like my group project's facebook page. It's linked to in the video description, and in my sig.

Paul, you have the sizzling charisma of early Richard Burton mixed with the feral manliness of Russell Crowe.

She's a wee cracker.

The 11pm, 12, 2am, 5am whining and barking had me calling her other things though.....

Has the chewing everything which doesn't move started yet (even if it is stationary for 10 seconds or more)?

Watched The Imposter this evening and was totally impressed/enthralled/creeped out/shocked.

Going to reiterate what I wrote on my facebook about it - I'd highly recommend watching this, especially if you haven't heard anything about it. Keep it that way - don't go searching for reviews or even the synopsis. Just let it unravel as you watch it.

Stressed out and cranky from getting up early three days in a row for work. I know that doesn't sound like much, but I'm so used to doing late shifts and mid-afternoon shifts that getting up early everyday is getting to me. Not to mention I work on my feet all day and I've been working full shifts for 3 days straight. Again, not something to complain about but I'm not used to it and it's bearing down on me. My feet are killing me and the last thing I want to do is another seven hour shift on my feet tomorrow.

All I want to do is come home and sit in silence watching telly. Which is why my beloved partner snapping at me for nothing has not gone down well and we spent the whole night in silence before he huffed off to bed leaving me in tears from stress, over-worked and upset.

I just need a day off but seriously, fuck my life at this precise moment.

My best friend just messaged me on facebook to tell me that her friends mum had a massive heart attack and probably won't survive. It was completely out of the blue. Really puts things in perspective.

Don't think I've ever danced as much as I have tonight but also got into a proper dramatic, analytical conversation with a girl outside the club. Please don't tell me how I should feel, you don't know me and this is not a film.

Yes. The couch, cables, grass, stones.... Definitely kept on our toes. She bites them too.

There's a tenner left in my back account with payday being the 31st. I'm sorted for lunch today, but with that last tenner do I...

a) Have a slap-up lunch tomorrow after having skimped through January on cheap lunches, or
b) Have another cheap lunch tomorrow and buy a 7-ish blu ray.

I'm both committed to slap-up lunches and the acquisition of optical media.

This is important, people.

I'd go for A. Although you should know, I will always go for the food option. Unless the other choice includes a tank and/or Tom Hardy.

Anyway, A. Stuff your face with some great grub.

Dammit, I'm salivating.

Done!

Also - glad you enjoyed The Imposter - Mrs UTB and I watched this a couple of weeks ago and it is a truly stunning (literally, as in "wha??") film. We sat there afterwards with bemused grins on our faces.

I love how the tone completely shifts halfway through. But saying anymore would spoil it for those who haven't seen it.

I have now moved The Imposter to "high" on my lovefilm list. Here's hoping I get it soon. Intrigued from the comments here

Yes! I was talking about it with my dad this morning saying I bought it yesterday thinking it was something completely different - I obviously don't want to say too much either about it on here - but as I was vocalising my thoughts on it, that thought suddenly struck me. The change in focus halfway through.

It's a truly brilliant piece of film making.

Hmmmm, job interview tomorrow. Do I shave the beard or hope potential employers revel in the manliness? Choices, choices...

Go with something that resembles your normal look.

I have a beard and for the interview for my current job, I had it neatly trimmed, but didn't get rid of it completely.

They may as well have a good idea of what you're really like, and shaving it all off runs the risk of cuts, spots and a generally red and itchy face. That's probably far more off-putting.

It would never even cross my mind to shave a beard off for an interview. What decade is this?!

Tonight's choice of film: The Hunter.

A couple of flaws and bit of a weak ending in comparison to the rest of the film, but I really enjoyed it. Australia really does produce some strong films.

Keep meaning to watch this on Netflix but never get around to it, something else always catches my eye. Looks good though, I'll get to it eventually.

It's kinda ginger and patchy right now, either way I'm fucked it seems.
