That is really not a good thing to Google.

I got back from work last night and had only been in the house for a few minutes when one of Jr's toys started making a noise upstairs (it's a plane and makes a whirring engine noise when you press the button).

Now, it's obviously got some loose wiring because it's gone off by itself before, but when you come home to an empty and silent house in the middle of the night and then a toy starts making noises as soon as you come in, it's still enough to freak me out a little. That, and the gusty winds which make a right racket in this house, meant I got very little sleep.

Waking up for work this morning felt like someone pissing into my eyeballs.

That's the difference between you and Gimli, she'd think Buzz and Woody had come to visit.

So you finally found someone at the dating site who was into it?

Hmm...toys suddenly activating, adverse weather conditions and strange noises in the house...any unexplained lights in the sky?

Things I discovered thanks to xmas tele: Russell Crowe was first choice to play Wolverine.  On turning it down, he suggested they try his mate Hugh Jackman instead...

Why isn't that cock saying 'Fuck'?

EDIT: I'm trying to write a play at the moment. Needs to be finished tomorrow. Got feedback today from a friend whose opinions I generally respect.

I'm having to go back to square one and redo everything. Ffffffff

Just stick Dwayne Johnson in it. Guaranteed to improve everything by 100% if you include him.

This cold and sinus infection needs to FUCK RIGHT OFF!!

Bored with sneezing, blowing my nose, not being able to sleep, having my eyes and nose constantly watering and feeling like my face has been stamped on!

On the plus side, another day of doing nothing but watch films

I'm thinking, the more I see of Daniel Radcliffe the more impressed I am with him. Just watched all of the Young Doctors Notebook and thought he was really good in it

It's a little known fact that I was the first person to read the original screenplay for Phantom Menace.

"Yeah, George, the epic space battles are fine, but you know that five minute flashback to when he was a kid? That's the heart of your film. And that alien you kill off? Make him the comic relief. Hardcore fans will love it."

I'm thinking I'm really happy at the moment.

Maybe it's my hormones going mental because I'm now missing an ovary, but I'd like to think that it's because the events of the past 2 months have really given me some food for thought, particularly about what I used to let bother me in life. I'm not where I want to be career-wise, I probably won't get to see as much of the world as I'd like to, I don't look like I'd love to look, and I don't have the body shape I'd kill for, but that's all ok.

I'm appreciating the little things just now. Having caring parents who have been selflessly looking after me, holding my newest niece and seeing her laugh and smile, feeling the sun on my face on a stroll outside, smelling pine needles on a forest floor, seeing 4 different generations of my family in one room, being able to lie flat on my back and get a good night's sleep, getting lungfuls of proper fresh air, seeing workmates for the first time in months, eating wonderful home cooked meals, laughing until I cry at something my parents have said or done.....

The list could go on. It's a special feeling.

I'm watching Graham Norton right now, and Graham just mentioned to Josh Groban that the other two stars Billie Piper and Frank Skinner had both released hit singles.

I immediately thought "Well Skinner released 3 Lions, what song did Billie Piper do?"

In my defence, I've literally never heard any of her tracks again since they came out, and these days I think of her as an actress.

3 Lions gets played every 2 years.
