I just watched Brave again. Best depiction of Scotland since Brigadoon.

I thought it was OK. Good mother/daughter stuff.

Brave SPoilers

A girl hero saving the day via sewing kind of annoyed me.

I seem to make jokes nobody else gets. In another forum, we were coming up with alternate titles for Star Trek Into Darkness and I came up with....

Star Trek In Across The Universe.

Tumbleweeds and crickets

That's a terrible joke.

And if I can't get that refrain out my head in the next 10 minutes I'm banning you. No-one would criticise me for doing it.

I love the animation on the bear. Best character in the film.

Also just found the first thing that made me think Twitter can be useful.

Peter Outerbridge tweeted me because I said Outbreak was terrible and people should go watch Regenesis. Also, Bagpuss seems to be talking to me (watch Rent a Cat - seriously, Master Utamaru is the closest you'll ever see to Bagpuss in the flesh)

WHat did you see? I was sold when I won a comp

Of course it's a terrible joke, it was a pun game

I was just annoyed that no bugger got it in the other forums. Here, I got threatened with a banning for it, so- result!

There's lots of people out there with access to obscure stuff - it's really interesting.

Yeah, some of Night Voices has turned up. They have three of the four stories, sadly The Trains is still missing. I would love to see a good adaptation of The Trains.

Just reading the conversation on what's funnier, Flan or Quiche.

If Scumspawn ever gets a Twitter then I'll join.

Although if Twitter was really so wonderful I'd be able to join it and start a petition to have Amicus in the 70s film an anthology based on L.P. Hartley shorts and Twitter could make time travel happen so it could work. The Travelling Grave with Peter Cushing, Christopher Lee and Michael Gough would be perfect. Or if Corman had filmed it with Vincent Price, Peter Lorre and Boris Karloff.

That's not Scumspawn. He hasn't mentioned security blankets, teddy bears or donkey sanctuaries. It's a cruel hoax.

I am deluged with packages. Sylvanian families creep me out (I don't get it - they're smooth like those awful nodding dog things in cars). Also, multiple Amazon packages from 3 different delivery sources in one morning feels a little odd.

All Of Me, an example of Steve Martin as a great comedy performer. The Pink Panther remake and example of Steve Martin as a hammy comedy performer.

Kids in bed, wife out with her friends and the telly to myself. Unlike last night though I've no fucking idea what I'm going to do with myself tonight.

I've been debating putting on a film or two or putting on the Wii and playing some Legend of Zelda.

Decisions, decisions...

I love Him & Her but I'm finding the third series incredibly hard to watch because I absolutely despise Laura and Paul so much.
