Note to self: don't keep the TV on mute in the background when Embarrassing Bodies is on. After idly browsing the net and then absent-mindedly looking across at the TV, I now have the image of a torn frenulum in my mind. Forever.

Cheers folks, it really sucks and I wouldn't wish it upon anyone, got hardly any sleep last night thanks to stomach cramps. Not looking forward to today, I have to make a long train journey. Still I am much better than yesterday.

Had a reeeeeaaaaaally nice walk on the beach this morning. I shall have to go even earlier next time when it's still dark, just so I can enjoy the moment again when, having walked for 45 minutes and decided to turn around to where I'd come from, I saw the cliffs, and the buildings and the lights on top of them. Only next time they'll be glowing even more.

Might even try some long exposure photography if the moon's out.

Hope it clears up soon for you, it's absolutely hideous. I can totally empathise. I got my first bout of food poisoning 4 years ago when I was in a Ger camp in a national park in Mongolia. The only toilet facilities was a wooden outhouse which wasn't even properly boarded up and just had a pit in the ground between two planks you stood on. You had to swing the door open and shut several times before you could use it to get rid of all the flies.

I also picked up some really bad bug last year in Dubrovnik that was ten times worse and I ended up in hospital on a drip - I've never felt as ill as that in my life before.

Anyway, gruesome stories aside, I really feel your pain, so hope you're on the mend!

While this chap from the Muslim Council is coming across very well, and rightly corrected the suggestion they'd told any player not to wear a shirt, why the hell are they even part of this story at all? Do they make a comment on every potential and actual shirt sponsor? 

Grabs for publicity are very tedious. Still don't match the Leper lot getting press inches over Pirates.

I'm afraid I've not seen it. But is the problem around giving / receiving interest? In which case I expect Ba, Cisse, Tiote or Ben Arfa don't have any bank accounts or shares or any other portfolio like that and the advice is for Muslims to not take out a pension or anything.

Yes, they're going on about sharia law and the interest thing. But this is more about them getting airtime at all. What about alcohol advertising or betting advertising? Do they pop out and helpfully remind any Muslim players about issues not wearing those shirts as well?

Yes I saw two people doing this when driving in one direction. 15 minutes later I was returning and they were still there whilst the zebra crossing was unused. Peoples are strange.

If so, I'm intrigued by the acceptance of its use on the BBC News site. Are they acknowleging it's meaning but pretending it means cat?

My sister's boyfriend works for his dad's building business. Sadly, this business is going under and his dad is struggling to keep paying his four employees. He offered to pay off one of his employees thinking it'll be easier to keep the three than the four. He did everything by the book and made the dude an offer, to which he agreed. The very next day, though, the dude came to work and said he had changed his mind because his wife had went to the Citizen's Advice Bureau who told her that he'll get more money when the business goes under so he'd be better staying where he is. And just wait for the business to die which it will do so quicker than it would if he took the offer......

I though that was quite shitty to be honest considering the amount he gets won't actually be that much more.

I think it does, yeah. Maybe the acceptance is because they think the majority of their readership are able to handle reading a euphemism for vagina.
