Unrelated to the above, but I'm getting my hair done in an hour's time. It's the first time in years I'm going for a drastic change of colour. Feeling a bit apprehensive.

 A few things that have been in my head today........ will it be hot in Tenerife in Dec/Jan? Will it be busy? Why cant I find a nice winter coat this year? Do I go out for carvery tonight, or stick to my diet and cook some fish? I've been drinking tea a lot lately, should I go back to coffee?

See, I'm not a jewellery person anyway so it was just a plain band and nothing spectacular to look at. And it has no sentimental value to me because the marriage, you know, failed.

Why would I willingly get ginger?! My middle brother was a proper carrot top as a kid and he's been labelled ginger ever since. Even though his hair is pretty much plain brown now.

See, when I was a teenager and dying my hair blonde so I didn't have ginger hair (I looked bloody awful with blonde hair but didn't think so at the time) my hairdresser used to say to me "do you know how much people would pay to have your natural colour and you go and dye it blonde!"   I soon learned the error of my ways and now proudly parade my gingerness (albeit coloured to cover the grey now which is creeping in quickly )

How do you feel about people with normal hair but with sort of ginger facial hair? It's the only aesthetic feature I have in common with Michael Fassbender and Andre Villas-Boas.

I have the same problem.


Same here, although it's coincided with the front of my hair gaining a gingerish tinge, to the extent people have started asking if I dye it. Explaining you look like a pillock naturally gets old really fast.
