 Trying to be a bit healthier after over indulging slightly on holiday so I go to Blazing Salads for lunch. On my way out I'm handed a free Dairy Milk by a rep for Cadburys. You can't say no.

 AWK-WARD.

Flatmate was in a right foul mood earlier on today before I left the flat, for no particular reason. So when I returned this afternoon I didn't bother speaking to him.

Just decided to go upstairs now and make dinner and coincided with him making his dinner.... I turned the oven on and left, and I know by now it'll already have preheated but I can't be arsed going up there to faff about in awkward silence.

 Most controversial thing I've learned over the last day: Tony the Tiger in the Frosties adverts isn't the original! The American ad campaign replaced him a decade ago with the now grown up Tony Jr. from the 70s ads, but they never acknowledged this in the UK redos. This is why he's now suddenly all buff and into extreme sports...

Why were we never told?

BFI must be cringing at the Twitter feed on the livestream of Champagne. Every single comment mentions how atrocious the soundtrack is. I don't know who Mira Calix is but I'll cross continents to avoid ever hearing something from her again.

Am I legally allowed to just cancel a monthly direct debit by going to the bank? I, um, don't really want to get in touch with the company itself, but there's no fixed term contract or anything, am I able to go to my bank and just do it with them, without having to contact anyone else?

If there's no contract, it's perfectly fine.

Although, you should still cancel the actual service.

The bank will often tell you that for direct debits you should cancel with the org calling for the payment - it's standing orders they say you control at the bank end.

This decision might help. If they do pay out - particularly if you've cancelled - tell them to recall it.

Seriously, it's caterwauling. It sounds like someone who's never seen an instrument before (or, more pertinently, the film - there was some gothic vocal rubbish over most of the heroine's - a shallow flapper's - entrance.

Today I saw a woman crossing the road through traffic and almost knock a cyclist down.

The cyclist stopped and screamed "are you above the fucking law?? Next time I will smack you!"

He then rode off and went straight through the red light at the crossing 20 feet away.

I'd forgotten about it til now.

Anna Hutchinson was a Yellow Ranger too and she shows her boobs in Cabin In The Woods. Unless that is who you were thinking about, I have no clue about her TV career.
