Why dont you just get it through the usual "other means" and watch it in bulks and without the annoying adverts?

Am LOVING this show!  Been watching it through the 'other means' mentioned.  Wrongly I'm actually quite fancying Dexter

There was a thread a while back asking for the best new show of the season and the best continuing show. My vote - and a few others - was an easy one for new show - Dexter, by a considerable margin.

I waited to read the book till after when I realised the links between it and season 1. I'd recommend waiting for those who haven't yet but then think about it.

I did the same but the 'other means' have been restricted so I'm not happy. Looks like I have to wait until it's on FX or import the DVD. I can't be bothered with all the ads and the waiting

PLEASE note that it starts on July 8th at 10pm, not the 18th!

This has been a public announcement from your friendly FX scheduler.

You definitely want to watch this show.  Very dark in tone but one of the best programmes I have seen in recent years.

I saw the first 5-6 episodes... somehow, but I stupidly stopped watching it. After watching last night's episode I'm really annoyed that I didn't see it through to the end. It's so good!

Really good pilot. I'm definitely gonna be sticking with this one. Such and intruiging and dark premise, I absolutely love it! In terms of a pilot, it was an excellent start, as so often pilots can fail to have the necessary hook to them to keep you interested.

Now its just whether I can wait a week to watch it or give up and just start downloading

Before we had it on air, I really didn't mind people downloading it - I think that's just the nature of the beast now. But now it's actually on, you could cut me a break and watch it the old fashioned way...

Mikey - if you have Virgin, FX is free on all packages till the end of August.

Fantastic pilot. Such deliciously dark and twisted characterisation. Of course, I've seen it all before, but I'm looking forward to seeing it all unfold again.

I'm keen to watch this, one of my friends has a boxset from the US and he said it's great but the first episode is kinda hard going, once you get past that, apparently, it's must-see tv!

July 18th we think then? I'm looking forward to it!

Interesting - as the set isn't out till August 21st. We generally just refer to our US friends sending us over copies

And if you check above it has started - but the pilot will be repeated, 10pm tonight. And you can see your friend is quite wrong about - it's superb!

Buggar! I missed the first ep. I kept seeing it advertised and thought "ooooooo" but they didn't say when it was so I missed it.

When is the next episode please?
