Rules of the Caption Competition
  • A picture is posted by a user. Anyone can suggest as many captions as they want.
  • The user who chose this picture then picks a winner when he feels appropriate.
  • The winner then picks a new picture, or delegates the choice of picture to someone with a sense of humour.
  • However, this winner will still choose the next winner. Then the circle continues, etc. etc.
  • If the current "Picture God"TM does not reappear, or leaves it too long to pick a winner, Beno the caption Nazi will either PM you to death, or one of the "Thread Administrators" will pick a new picture. This ensures the thread does not die.
  • What the thread adminstrators say goes. Otherwise they will kill you.

The Thread Administrators are: (as picked from the most frequent contributors)
  • Swordsandsandals - The McCaptionator
  • Beno - Caption Nazi
  • Wags - International Captions Correspondent
  • Olaf - Mr Bildtext

I'm shocked. And appalled. Shocked and appalled. Well two can play at that game.

I'm offended! which threads have I left apart from the four word story thread?

Swords......
I was not saying you have abandoned other threads.....
what i was referring to is: That I have seen this game come and go ---because others who have started them, quit on them and we are all left saying..... "Who won"?

Im definately not saying you'd do it. I was just hinting....cause i really like to come up with captions.

Wooooooooooo!!!

I'd say weekly was best for this. It's a grand idea for a thread, I just haven't though of a caption that's remotely decent yet!

Can anyone join in?

The Fantastic Four regret giving a sneak preview of their new movie to Harry Knowles.

And I'd like to see this done weekly; how about letting the winner post the next pic?

Yes, Dragon. Anyone can join......we prefer the criminally insane though.

The audience's reaction to the 1st Fantastic Four film was more shocking than Jess had expected.

Yeah, I decided it should be weekly, and so I'm back after a weekend away ready once again to come up with more hilarious captions. I thought all the captions were funny except from the bit about Uncle Jun because I didn't get it... Anyway, after (not) much deliberation.
THE WINNER IS.....

Should we vote on this?

New competition, and I'll announce the winner when I feel like it. In a week I guess. Anyway, enjoy this one:

They all tried, but no-one could ignore the size of his stick.

Pretty uninspired, I know, but you can do better.
