Well, I've only just got the camera in the Wharfmaster's office, but to be fair, I'm not really a huge gamer (you'll guess that from one look at my Gamerscore), but I really think it's starting to pick up now. Can't wait to get back and meet Atlas (don't anybody quote me and subtly hint at a future plot point, cos I will trace your IP address, hunt you down, and shove a Big Daddy figurine up your japseye ).

You sound like you're further than I am, and I played it on Thursday-Sunday didn't manage to play it today. I haven't played it that much and I'm shocked at just how much some people have played it, the likes of Benyameano had almost finished their second playthrough yesterday, no offence to the guy but that is far too much time spent on a games console for one weekend, I just couldn't do it even if I did enjoy the game, I'd feel rough and in need of some fresh air and exercise

I completed it in 3 sessions - Saturday, Sunday and today. Once I started I just couldn't put it down and ended up forcing myself to switch it off else I wouldn't have had any sleep this weekend. I've started my 2nd run tonight and have gotten to the medical bay so far, just before you meet the Dr. It's just as gripping the 2nd time through because you notice a lot more stuff that comes into play later on in the game.

Quite simply a class game and more than probably the best game I've played on the 360 so far. I'll have to see how I feel after a replay to confirm that though because at 15+ hours it's not bad value for money, it's just that it doesn't compare to Oblivion in that respect.

Is there any kind of method to use to get the jackpot on a slot machine or is it all luck?

Luck, which judging by the amount of 360's you've been through, you're running short on!

I had about 25 goes and never won it, I won $25 a few times with 3 apples but that was it. This is going to be a money wasting achievement

Took me a sodding age in fairness, the only reason I kept trying was because I kept winning $25 back, I'd of been skint otherwise.

Well I just used the whole of my $500 dollar full wallet in the machine without winning and that includes spending the money I won from about 25 lots of 3 apples. Just reloaded the last save point, this is going to take forever.

I saved just before using it and went on with $500 it only took a few minutes to get it.

It took about 3 reloadings of the game and $1500-$2000, but I got it.

So was I the only person that played the guitar for about 5 minutes after finding it in the game?  It's no wonder I'm getting nowhere fast in the game, I keep stopping do stuff like that, and just really take in the game.

There's no challenge involved. I completed it on Normal first and have gone down to Easy so that I can get the remaining achievements done and the difference in difficulty between the 2 is immense. Easy is piss easy and if I would have run through it on that difficulty first time round I would have been devastated. Most of the fun is in the challenge and although I'm still enjoying it on easy I think the setting is only there so that you can get the niggly research (et al) achievements done.

That's what I did. On Medium I died quite a bit and treated the Big Daddies with the utmost respect whereas on Easy I didn't die once and kept trying to take the Big Daddies down with the measly wrench. Hard mode awaits for the 'Seriously Good At This' achievement. I also have to find all the audio diaries and collect/make the 53 tonics- bugger, I was looking forward to this thing called 'sleep' that I've heard so much about.

Finally completed it tonight, it's easily one of the best games on the 360 so far, and I can't think of many games with a better story than Bioshock.

I agree with the person who mentioned the good ending- it was a genuinely touching finish to the plot. I'm going to go back to harvest the Little Sisters on Hard mode, though I'm not sure I'll enjoy it too much, after (invisitext!)

the section where you had to protect the Little Sister as she was collecting Adam, I felt like a right bastard when I let one of them die!
