Mine arrived this morning, the Tin version as well despite the fact that I only ordered the regular version, but hey can't complain.

So far this game is awesome, and the first fight with Big Daddy....wow talk about tense.

They sent me the tin as well, Bonus

I gave up for the night at the Big Daddy, battered me silly

Absolute quality game though, I so wish I had a HDTV

I'm not quite as far as you, just got to kill some Doctor in the Medical Pavillion, although I've been searching around and ignoring the arrow (I don't remember that being there in the demo) managed to find the incinerator plasmid and a fair few dollars. Really enjoying the game so far.

Apparently the demo was specifically created as a demo rather than it being a specific chunk of the game. They let you get certain weapons and plasmids earlier than you normally would and you get to meet a Big Daddy and Little Sister earlier than you would in the game.

The only difference I can see between the demo and the game was that you got the incinerator plasmid later on, the rest is exactly the same, the Little Sister and Big Daddy sequence is still there at the exact same point.

Really? Is the intro to the game as abrupt as the demo or does it build up a bit more?

Im still undecided about whether or not to get this game on the PC or 360, hence why I haven't ordered it yet. I'll make a snap decision on Saturday methinks because there's nothing to choose between them once I've weighed up the pros and cons.

Pro's for PC - Keyboard and Mouse, will look unbelievable on my new setup.

Pro's for 360 - Prefer playing in front of a TV than a monitor, looks unbelievably lush.

Those are the main ones going through my mind at the mo (plus of course there's achievements to be had on t'360 ).

I was undecided myself until I tried the PC demo. Aside from looking slightly sharper (goes without saying given the resolution) it looks pretty much identical to the 360 version in my eyes, even with all the details maxed out. Easier to play with the mouse and keyboard obviously but the advantages of curling up on the sofa with the big screen and dolby digital have pulled me towards the 360 version.

I don't get all this Mouse and Keyboard preference, sure you can move the crosshair quicker but I hate having to use a keyboard, keyboards werent' designed with gaming in mind and it shows, so uncomfortable and it just feels like your working, it takes away from games IMO.

Plus you're missing the most important appeal factor of the 360 version, achievements

Just killed my first Big Daddy, that was quite some fight but I soon figured out an easy way to kill him, bring on the rest of the Big Bastards I say.

As for the keyboard and mouse thing I don't agree one bit. FPS's were constructed with the keyboard and mouse combo in  mind and it shows. I usually set up the num pad for my movement and it has enough free buttons for pretty much every function in the game. I personally don't find it uncomfortable at all.

I was referring to Pauly with the achievements.

Can't agree with you with the keyboard, because of the arrangement of the buttons being preset for typing I can never find a comfortable and easy setup to use, especially seeing as all the keys are offset, joypad all the way

Way off topic but the keyboard and mouse set-up is the best way to play FPS's full stop. The 360 controller is by the far the best pad for shooters but will never compare to th speed or accuracy of a mouse.

True speed and accuracy are quicker on the m/k but it can get a bit 'crampy' at times.

Wow, picked this up this morning, and it's class. Not too far into it right now, I'm searching for the doctor to get his key, but it's really easy to get sucked into it.

Yeah, that's where I got it. I was surprised because when I rang them yesterday, they said they didn't have any in stock, but they'd be getting a batch early next week.

Well, I have a stack of games to take in tomorrow to trade for my copy.  I take it it's worth a punt...

Hello all.

I have just defeated the Big Daddy fight, personally didnt think it was too difficult? Did anyone else find it fairly easy?

I bought the collectors edition, with the figure. 45 from Gamestation. You get the tin case inside ASWELL, and GAME were selling 45 just for the tin. Not Bad, BUT the one they had in Gamestation the Big Daddy drill has come off, so they knocked me 15% off. 38.25 and Iv simply superglued it back on, and no-one would ever be the wiser.

Thats because Link, who Game use as a courrier between Warehouse and Shops had broken pretty much everyone of the figures, we only sold one in work today, we had another 8 that weren't broken unsold.

Picked up the game this morning and my 360 arrived back from repair about three hours later! I thought it'd be more like 3 weeks until I could play it but Microsoft sent me a brand new xbox. Mine maybe couldn't be fixed.

Played the game for an hour or so. Really enjoying it. Beautiful looking game that is making me wish I had a HDTV.

Very near the end now, (well the end as far as I know actually), and I've potentially done the very annoying of saving it without properly stocking up on ammo.

I should still be able to do it, just not as easily as I would have done before.....

I'm annoyed that I won't have all the little sisters done, the second big daddy I killed him and died at the same time and the Little Sister was there, so I decided to re-load the game and kill him again, this time he died and the little sister is nowhere to be found, however I stupidly saved right after I killed him.

Picked up the tin in Gamestation today for 40, where the normal version is 45... something about price matching? Anyway shall give it a go later.

Wooop, just completed the game and the end wasn't as hard as I was initially making it for myself.

Simply Amazing, best game I've played on the 360 so far, definetly deserves the praise it's been getting.

Now then, just to play it through again....and again....and again....
