A wise man once asked me where do I stand on LOTR Vs ED. With no waffle, premble or meandering of thought I hasten to make known my feelings. I enjoyed muchly ED3 (blasphemy in itself to purists no doubt), but LOTR is a work of art and as such, you have my answer. Good day to you fine sirs. May battle be joined forevermore.
What do you mean ''am I a ringer''?

Fans of LOTR are Ringers, misguided folk who prefer Evil Dead are Deadites.

As the saying goes

LOTR Rulz
ED Sux

To be perfectly frank with Gimmers, I cannot believe this thread went mammoth. How can there be that much to debate? Not which is better, but why compare them in the first place? It's luda-kris!

I think there have only been about 15 posts of actual proper debate, much of the rest is inane chatter or the Deadites deluding themselves, as Rhubarb's post proves!

The mistake everyone makes about this thread is that it is actually about the films in the title, its place in this subforum shows it isn't about that at all

I've just looked at the first page of this thread. Apart from Clownie, does anyone still post on these boards? And does anyone at all still post in this thread?

IThe fact that Evil Dead does not appear in my favourite film list and LOTR is very high is testimony enough that Evil Dead sucks.

At least the Army of Darkness is a proper undead army with great effects. Not complete CGI-green blob wankery...

Army Of Darkness is the best ED film. Just not as good as Rings.

KB, you're meant to be on my side in this! Don't agree with the Deadites about anything, if if you do think they're right
