I've watched about 5 minutes of it, and thats more than enough. I can't believe they've made a show for an hour and a half with a live studio audience, it all seems a bit sad rather than funny seeing all these old actors whose careers have been pretty much dead since the original series being dug up for one night.

Watching 10 mins of that makes me realise how lucky we all are with modern comedy.

I personally don't mind Allo Allo although it went on for about 4 years too long.  This show however......

I only caught the last 15 minutes but what was the point.  It appeared to be a clip show tied together by a dodgy "comedy" links in front of a live studio audience who seemed to be laughing whenever a big sign flashed (or they were seriously disturbed).  Gordon Kaye appeared to have forgotten how to do his Cluesoesque French accent and Vicky Michelle really is far too old to be wearing that outfit.  A completely pointless exercise which is more of an insult to the show than a tribute.

i like allo allo a lot i think its very good. but i didnt think much of this. it didnt feel right, and was too long. id rather they had just done an hour docu about the show with interviews etc, and not the studio stuff they did, it just didnt work. it felt a bit obvious and very flat. was it an anniversary or something, i couldnt figure why they did it know.

im glad they didnt do a new ep as it wouldnt have worked, a bit like only fools and horses towards the end.

The only good thing about it was reminding myself how fit the original waitress was - not Vicki Michelle, the other one that got replaced by the weird pig faced midget.

Dear God I can't believe they did a tribute to that shite - what next? "Mind Your Language" class reunion?

Ah, little Maria.  Was she there for the reunion? Whatever happened to her?Surely viewing figures must have gone down when she was replaced by a pug dog in a dress?

I watched it all, and it was very funny!! all the people who are knocking it are probably the people who keep the the BBC making shite like My Family and Three Pints of Lager.

it was a classic show, yes it has dated badly but it was fun to see, what this people looked like now and which ones were dead, a bit like watching dads army or last of the summer wine.

and yes the original waitress was well sexy, compared to mimi la'bonk

Oh yes Maria. She was so fit and then left and replaced by that stupid midget. Well she's grown now but sidewards after seeing her on Saturday night

I always wondered what happened to her and why she was replaced - especially with someone with such a shite combination of looks and ability.

I missed it the other day but will most definately catch any repeats - I thought it was a good show personally

In fairness I think Allo Allo was good when it started, a traditional farce. Its just that it went on far too long & simply followed the formula of - character enters says catchphrase leaves, next character enters says catchphrase leaves etc.

I thought it was ok, but was it just me or was Gorden Kaye reading all his lines from his "memoirs" that he had in front of him!! I found it really offputting.

Plus hubba hubba to the woman who played the character who said "I shall say this only once" during her interview. Wow, i would
