Dont think they should do any more films based on any of the charcters in any of the previous films, but do like sound of a film set like 2,000 years before based on one of the first jedi v sith battles with loads of lightsaber battles between the two

Me too.

That would be pretty cool, but they'd have to come up with some brilliant characters to match up with the likes of Anakin, Obi-Wan, Yoda, Han, Luke and Leia.

Don't forget Chewie!

Those lightsabre battles would kick ass though.

How would we all feel about a different director attempting a Star Wars film?  One who reveres and respects the Star Wars mythology and universe as much as we do?

Wouldn't it be great seeing some like Spielberg take it on?!  Not that it will ever happen, mind.

Yes, that could work.  Although I actually thought Lucas did a good job with the prequels.

After all, ESB is unarguably the best SW film,

I'd argue that ROTS is the best SW film.  But ESB is the second best, though.

By the way, happy Star Wars day everyone!
May the fourth be with you!

It will be set in the "Dark Times" period between ROTS and A New Hope.  Each episode will be an hour long.....that's all I know, sorry.

Another of a personal gripe of mine towards the prequels especially ROTS was the amount of lightsaber action.  Now don't get me wrong i as much as everyone thinks they are the coolest intergalactic gizmo ever invented it's just the sound of a saber igniting was such a blessing and such a geek moment to relish in you'd even go as far as get onto your feet and mimic the motions.

It's just used too many times in the prequels and to be honest takes away the magic of the ultimate weapon.

Also the Anakin V's Obi Wan duel should have been red V's blue.  The blue saber on blue saber was a bit distracting and hard to make out the choreography.  Plus it would've added more to the good V's evil edge.

Nice idea, some potential problems: the red sabre wouldn't have stood out so well against the lava and red tinted backgrounds (it's the same reason they made Luke's RotJ blade green - it was supposed to be blue, but simply didn't show up against the Tatooine sky. There is a blue blade clearly visible on one of the early RotJ trailers), so I think in that regard it was a wise decision. Secondly, Obi Wan only picks up Vader's sabre (which he has to, as he gives it to Luke in Star Wars) after the duel has ended, so there'd be a significant continuity error there.

I disagree think there should of been more in ROTS especially during order 66( i think that was the number) where the jedis should been seen putting up a better fight, and when Anakin goes to the temple could of seen him go up against other Jedi's there

Maybe Obi-Wan could have aquired Anakin's saber just after his turn to the dark side maybe coming across it at the Jedi Temple.  Anakin then having to constuct another one.

Anyways in the words of Del Boy it's all epidemic.

I agree if he can beat Yoda the Jedi master im sure he can beat a few jedi nights easy. The only person to of ever beat him is Vader and that was only because he s back was turned.

I always thought that scene was there to show how strong Papaltine was.  As for beating Yoda, I'd say it was more of a draw.  As for getting beat by Mace I thought he was manipulating the result to lure Anakin into fighting.

I agree with him trying to manipulate Anakin so Anakin would fight Mace. I wouldn t say it was a draw between Yoda and Palpatine Yoda couldn t handle him so he ran off into exile and Palpatine was still looking for him to finish it off. In other words Yoda bottled it.

Yoda had missed his opportunity; once he'd fallen, Palpatine would have escaped, and there was no way he could get that close to Palpatine again; best thing to do was keep hidden and bide his time.

nope.after yoda fell palpatine had the high ground and therefore the advantage, also, there were many troopers on the way so he had to make a retreat.I call it a draw as palps failed to kill yoda and vice versa

Hey guys what is fav scenes from the saga?

Mine would have to be Luke vs Vader duel at the end of ESB.  However Anakin going crispy comes close.

My fav bit out of the whole saga would have to be when Vader tells Luke that he is he s farther in Empire. Second would have to be when Luke is getting fried by the Emperor in Return of the Jedi. Third i would say is when Anakin first joins the darksideand you relise he has turned into a complete nutjob then goes about on  a mission to destroy the other jedis.

Opening to New Hope and entrance of Death Vader one of the best, Agree with when Anakin goes nuts and takes out everyone in Jedi Temple and on Mustafra
