Gabriel Byrne in The Usual Suspects: "There is NO. FUCKING. COKE!"
I distinctly remember choking with a sudden gasp of laughter at the completely deranged way he shouts this.

it's up there with "Then make your point!! your making me tired all over." Was he supposed to be Irish or American?? His accent is neither....

An Irish bloke who watches a lot of American movies?
Actually, a lot of the lines from the last fifteen-twenty minutes are brilliant.

I don't understand the point being made with that statement. All the lines from the Usual Suspects are brilliant and Gabriel Byrne's performance is great. Accent, however, was difficult to comprehend.

It does tend to swerve unexpectedly from Dublin to Denver, but from what I can tell from other movies and interviews, he actually talks like that.

You're right, it's one of my favourite screenplays, never allows your attention to slip. But the last 15-20 minutes really send chills down my spine.

"It was one of those days when it's a minute away from snowing and there's this electricity in the air, you can almost hear it. And this bag was, like, dancing with me. Like a little kid begging me to play with it. For fifteen minutes. And that's the day I knew there was this entire life behind things, and... this incredibly benevolent force, that wanted me to know there was no reason to be afraid, ever. Video's a poor excuse, I know. But it helps me remember... and I need to remember... Sometimes there's so much beauty in the world I feel like I can't take it, like my heart's going to cave in. "

Garden State: I will never get tired of this scene, still gives my goosebumps
Andrew Largeman
: You know that point in your life when you realize the house you grew up in isn't really your home anymore? All of a sudden even though you have some place where you put your shit, that idea of home is gone.
Sam: I still feel at home in my house.
Andrew Largeman: You'll see one day when you move out it just sort of happens one day and it's gone. You feel like you can never get it back. It's like you feel homesick for a place that doesn't even exist. Maybe it's like this rite of passage, you know. You won't ever have this feeling again until you create a new idea of home for yourself, you know, for your kids, for the family you start, it's like a cycle or something. I don't know, but I miss the idea of it, you know. Maybe that's all family really is. A group of people that miss the same imaginary place

Pulp Fiction: epic scene
Mia: Don't you hate that?
Vincent: What?
Mia: Uncomfortable silences. Why do we feel it's necessary to yak about bullshit in order to be comfortable?
Vincent: I don't know. That's a good question.
Mia: That's when you know you've found somebody special. When you can just shut the fuck up for a minute and comfortably enjoy the silence.
