I made these using the free transform tool (rotate) in Adobe imageready which I downloaded bought perfectly legaly and all that. Yes.

Faster and smoother;


Slower yet a bit jerkier;

Mr. Tea, if I sent you an avi, would you possibly be able to sort it out in ImageReady for me please? As you can see, my HEAT one from the previous forum looks positively shit here.

I'm thinking either something from A Fish Called Wanda (the Kline), Unforgiven, Fright Night or even Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater.

Yeah, I think i could manage that, PM me.

Actually, this brings up a bit of a problem I've noticed lateley. I used to be able to open .mov's in imageready (and using a 3rd party program, .avi's too), but since the new version of quicktime/itunes came out, I keep getting an error. Has this happened to anybody else?

I can still make av's from avi's though, it just takes longer to screengrab them a frame at a time.

Try using VirtualDub, you can select a small sequence of the video and automatically output it as a series of jpegs

I remember somebody (I think it was Ruffkut) producing a really groovy Ghost Dog av for me about a year ago, but I lost it...so if there's anyone who wants to do one for me or find the old one (Ghost Dog swinging his two guns around in slow-mo fashion and then dropping bodies to the floor) that would be grand!

Thanks for reminding me about that, I installed it a few months ago, but couldn't remember what it was called, and so couldn't find it for ages. It doesn't add itself to the start menu for some reason.

This is a complex one, but massive kudos to whoever can do it.  When Frost is telling his Vietnam story, and he starts miming the killing of the VCs, can someone make me one of that, but cutting out the bits with Tom Savini? No offence to the living legend that he is, but it always gets a chuckle from me when he does those actions.

I can only make an avatar of it if i have the source file, so if you find it, PM me and I'll get it done.

As I said earlier, I use Adobe Imageready which you can download for free buy for about £500. I  also use Virtualdub (free) to get the frames in image format.

Here are some I made for Megalo-who? earlier (after he sent me the source files);







Edit;

I fixed the garden state avatar because it was too fast in firefox so here is the new one;


To set your avatar; Got to 'My Empire' (very top left), then 'My Details', then scroll down to the bottom of the 'About me' section. Click the circle next to 'Enter URL' then put in the URL of the image. In this case it's http://img143.imageshack.us/img143/8049/34446335di.gif . You can find this URL by uploading the image from your hard drive to a place like http://www.imageshack.us.
Then save the changes.
