Anyone watch Nip/Tuck on Sky One? I got into this program when it used to be on Channel 4 late at night whilst I was going to sleep. This series hasn't been great, the last series was fantastic in comparison. I'm the only person I know who watches it though, so is anyone else out there?

I assume the viewing figures can't be great, as Sky One have dumped it from a Monday 10pm (same as heroes) slot to a graveyard saturday 11pm slot.

Yeah - but I felt sorry for the old fool.

As for Julia and the 'vertically challenged' fella - this all felt a bit ludicrous to me. Not cos the guy is small, but because there seemed to be no chemistry at all between the two - and then suddenly they're having this full blown affair. Very odd. I just thought the guy came across as REALLY creepy and slimey in all his scenes and thought he was gonna be dodgy in some way.

I've read that Julia is written out of 3 episodes as she needed a break from filming too, so I'd imagine this'll be the catalyst to her leaving for a while.

Who'd have a relationship in Miami eh? Whats the point, no-one is faithful. Great entertainment tho, I love it.

Oh, and I forgot to say, Alanis Morisette can really act! :-) And she's playing a bitch too. Nice one.

I wonder when we get Nicole Kidmans appearance.

yeah - Kidman is in one episode I think. I don't know any details further than that, but read it in fridays Metro paper. Beats Rosie O'Donnell and JR.

Haha that episode was hilarious! They always manage to find the line each series and go one further in the shocks. Love it. My missus calls me a perv for liking the show as she thinks its blatant porn all the time. She's right of course! ;-)

Oh I don't know - she's been 'cruised'

Would be good if when nicole kidman appears her character took a little dig at scientology.

Ok how about going in for a leg shortening treatment as her last marriage broke down due to 'height' issues?

I`m strangly addicted to this show and I don`t know why now. It used to be a great satrical look at the US plastic surguery industry, its users and the insecurities that drive people to have it as well but seems these days to try to hard to shock now and at times has been plain weird. That episode where Brooke Shields had a tatoo removed and Christian had that weird dream at the begining was just downright odd but still I watch to see what they`re gonna come up with next like Lost. What happened to Larry Hagmans old man character I missed that episode?

Basically he needed his medication, and she decided she'd had enough of him. Nurse had gone home, so basically from his bed she told him a few home truths, he started to REALLY need his medication that was downstairs, and she just let him start crawling from his bed to try and get it. He then fainted or died at the top of the stairs, and she began to remove his Kidney as they needed one (otherwise Christians would be used and he'd be killed in the process).

Good stuff.

I thought that but they've actually moved it to Sky Three Tuesdays 10pm, actually making it more accessible as Sky Three is on Freeview (until they pull it later in the year).

Despite it being ridiculously over the top I still enjoy it.

Nichole Kidman is not in Season 4, don't know where that rumour started. Can't believe the season is still running, what episode are you guys upto? It finished for downloading months ago. Oh, and it just gets progressively worse, even in comparison to the dire 3rd season. Nip/Tuck will have to try damn hard next season.

Episode 9 was the last one on Sky.   It was supposed to start on Sky last year but got pushed back, presumably to make way for Lost.

Anyone see the latest episode?

As soon as I read the synopsis of it being about Connor in the year 2026 - I was VERY sceptical, as I'm not much of a fan of novelty episodes. Safe to say I was wrong though, it was a very funny episode, especially seeing Christian as the dirty old man still getting his wicked way with the ladies.

Nip/Tuck seems to do the novelty episodes really well. I remember when Julia had the alternate reality dream in which she'd actually got together with Christian - and they were both drugged up surgeons with a very messed up open marriage. Very good!

Well I'll have to disagree with you Grunny. Had it not had the flashbacks to the break up of the marriage etc then yeah, I wouldn't have liked it and thought it complete novelty drivel. But, because it mixed the future fantasy with the real time events - I liked it.

The grown up sister has to go down as one of the most annoying and irritating characters in history.

I guess, as this wasn't a dream episode, the writers have basically now told us that Sean and Julia will hardly be talking to each other anymore. Thank god for that! I couldn't cope with seeing them get back together AGAIN.
