I was excited when I heard Ealing Studios were gonna make a new film until I found out it was gonna star Carmen Electra

Will do. Not sure when it will come mind. I ordered it about a week ago now but it's coming from the states, so could take weeks. Looking forward to it, HBO usually make quality TV and it has a great cast.

He was tight lipped about that I'm afraid.

You'll be able to share the experience soon because Empire were filming and photography the event.

Apparently, the studio was suggesting Mr Wright included Jack Black as an FBI agent in Hot Fuzz.

Lots of cool stuff there. We played on PS3's in the breaks, and had free food and booze. Joe Cornish was there too!! I got my Spaced boxset signed!!! We got to see the outtakes for Hot Fuzzand witnessed Timothy Dalton shout 'mother fuck it!'.

Two of my questions were answered.

Cracking news!

I've seen Tuskegee Airmen now, btw, and thought it was very good stuff. Lacking on the special effects and the combat scenes though. On the other hand, they made very good use of archive footage to fill in the gaps.

For some reason, I really like the use of the achive footage put into the battle scenes.

The bit where Hannibal strafes the destroyer and it blows up is incredible. Almost ludicrous but that's actual footage and if it was done with CGI or models, you'd think it was insane that a destroyer would blow apart like that. (Although there are threads on IMDB that doubt the validity of that footage)

Expect more FX then you can shake a stick at when George Lucas starts work on 'Red Tails'.

Still an amazing fact though - they never lost ONE bomber to enemy action. Simply astounding, especially when bomber losses were so high during sortees over Germany.
