Without a doubt, the new Old Spice ad is utterly brilliant. I missed the line at the end because I was giggling too much.

Definitely this.

It's probably already been posted in here, but the Blackcurrant Tango ad remains one of the funniest I've ever seen. The greatness of this advert is in direct proportion to how disgusting blackcurrant tango was: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=opCecHAjzeQ

Has anyone seen the new Pearl Drops ad yet? It's virtually shot for shot a remake of the final scene in Love Actually.

Yeah I'm a sucker, I like Love Actually. Hey, everyone has a guilty secret.

Frickin knew the most recent post would be about that Muller advert. It's awful. It's so scattershot and unfocused and blatantly going for HEY LOOK NOSTALGIA IS FUCKING AWESOME. And doesn't actually make me want to eat yoghurt. And I like Muller.

It has Mr. Men and is therefore better than 99.99% of everything.

Have to agree it's a total mess and makes absolulely no sense. Just rubbish.

The advert which has music from The Selector and also the Black Beauty theme music (though they do take that one out sometimes, bastards).

It wasn't a particularly happy time in my life when Black Beauty was on, but that music still makes me smile.

The new Haribo advert. So good, it accompanied Lion King in 3D at the cinema.

Same for me unfortunately. I'm also really cynical and think that they really wanted to have loads and loads of different characters from loads of different sources, but could only afford Mr. Men, Kitt, and a handful of Hannah Barbara characters, hence why Yogi seems to be in it so much.

It's no 90 second Who Framed Roger Rabbit that's for sure.

I do like the Chedds advert though, it's bonkers.

It takes the Mr Men and rapes them. Basically. Not wanting to use hyperbole. Roger Hargreaves would be rolling in his grave if his family weren't probably getting a sizeable payout for the use of the images in the advert.

It doesn't. The new Mr Men tv show and merchandise dishonours the originals. At least the advert is using them in a positive light, colourful fun as opposed to drab and dreary automatons.

I quite like the new BA advert.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a4JdQi60an0

Slightly cheesy, but not overpoweringly so.  Actually makes me quite proud to be British.

EDIT: Anyone know the music?  Sounds familiar, almost Einaudi-esque

Is it Mark Strong doing the voice over?

And that John Lewis ad cost SIX MILLION POUNDS

SIX MILLION for 90 secs of the world's dullest house, four actors and a kid who can pull faces.

Downtown Abbey apparently costs ONE MILLION POUNDS per episode.

Can someone please explain this to me?

It's lovely, but can't see where the 6 million cost, perhaps to market it but surely not to make it?

Anyway, thanks to SKY+, I haven't seen many adverts for the last 2 years, thank fuck, I hate them with a passion, but I did see the new COD advert the other day with Sam Worthington and that is pretty good, quite funny actually, being as I am the "noob" in question normally.
