Same here, I would love to see Moore do er, more Top Ten, rather than say, LOEG. There's a wealth of stories he could tell, even just a continuation of the original series. A second season would be a delight!

I believe Gene Ha started on a second series and a few issues were released. They didn't sell all that well but I seem to remember reports that they were decent.

Top Ten was originally published by Wildstorm (under Moore's own Amercia's Best Comics line) but that company was bought by DC/Warner Bros. and all the titles - with the exception of LOEXG - now belong to them. Moore has suggested (as have others, including Jim Lee himself) that Moore's comics output was a big part of why DC wanted to buy them out. Considering Moore's ever-deteriorating relationship with DC, things only got worse when DC started fucking around with his ABC line, meaning any more Top Ten comics written by Alan Moore will never happen.

That is fascinating, Sanchia. Have you read any of this stuff (I mean I'm assuming you have of course). It looks so exciting, and the size of those tomes - my word! Reminds me of the Bone collection I bought a while back, but Bone X 3! Looks like great fun, I would love to have those in my collection, but it's a bit pricey. I hope the creator gets them printed.

Awesome! I saw the page when I was checking it out last time, but it wouldn't load on my bloody phone. Working fine now, looking forward to checking it out. Cheers!

Black Mirror is a replacement. I lent my copy to my nephew as he'd never read any pre New 52 Batman stuff. He really enjoyed it (Dick Grayson as Batman FTW) and as he's been letting me read his Bat titles since the start of the New 52 I decided to let him keep it.

That's me done till I've moved house now. Hopefully I'll be sorting out a moving date this coming Thursday.

Amazon are right knobs sometimes. I ordered a book (which was in stock) four days ago, and i'm still waiting for it to be dispatched.

By the way, if this is your first encounter with Saga then boy are you in for a treat!

Had this beauty (or horror!) delivered today. Really chuffed - Richard Corben is the real deal, one of my fave artists in comics. This beautiful hardback collects some of his earlier works for Creepy and Eerie .

You weren't wrong Wookie, I'd easily say Saga has jumped straight near to the top of my favourites of all time list.

Today's Travelling Man's birthday or something so they were doing 20% off everything in store, ended up picking up the following:

and I don't know if this counts but I'm including it:

It's sooooooo pretty!!

Nice stuff there, furry. I might get the Ten Seconders trade too as I am loving the current run in 2000ad. Although I understand the great Edmund Bagwell is absent in the first two series, his artwork for this run is nothing short of masterful. Are you reading the current run by the way?

Unfortunately it's a bit tough finding 2000AD here in Canada and a subscription is surprisingly expensive. I've decided to just buy in bulk from their online shop every year or so and then read them in a massive pile when I pay a visit home to Ireland. I did this recently and it was great fun, reading a years worth of progs in the space of a few weeks (I didn't make it all the way through the Megazines, alas!) I do miss my weekly dose of thrill-power quite a bit though

Oh no! Have you thought about maybe going digital? You might need a cursed iPhone or iPad for that though!

There's some terrific stuff going on in the prog right now, Judge Dredd, Defoe and Ten-Seconders. Oh well, you can get a Thrill overload when you come back home!

I have a Samsung Nexus 10 tablet so could go digital but I've been buying 2000AD since I was about 7 years old. It's the one comic I actually collect and want the physical version of. It's a bit of a nostalgia thing, I guess If I get rich one day, I'll happily subscribe!
