I go through phases of buying things, I usually allow myself on average 4 book (usually 2nd hand) purchases a month at a certain price...Having got back rather rapidly into reading comics my imaginary budget for January and most of February is now gone. I don't feel that bad.

And when we're talking about titles like the ones above, there's no reason you should feel bad!

Taking a leaf out of Nexus' book and just taking pics!

Fables Volumes 10 - 18 by Bill Willingham, Mark Buckingham & more

Decided to just finish buying up the rest of this series in one go.

The Veil, Snow Angel, Term-Life, Singularity 7, Sweets, The Light, Groom Lake, Starr the Slayer (Richard Corben!) and Jonah Hex: No Way Back

So I found all these in a discount bin. A lot of decent looking stuff, made up mostly of writers/artists names that I recognise from various recent Image titles!

The Unwritten Vol. 6: Tommy Taylor and The War of Words by Mike Carey & Peter Gross

I know I said I was done for the month but I just got a tax rebate so I thought I'd treat myself further. I'll probably get myself another couple of trades later on this month, I'm just not sure what yet.

Not as part of the Marvel Graphic Novel Collection, but a pocketbook a while ago. I felt a bit underwhelmed by it, not as enjoyable as i thought it'd be even though its considered an Iron Man classic. Artwork was great though.

Number #12 and #13......

Ideally I'd like to have 15 of them, with 5 on each shelf. I'm trying to just buy the ones I like at the moment. Even though i'm more of a Marvel fan, the DC Figures are tending to have a lot more variety and be more unique in their presentation.

Is that any good Nexus? I'm a big fan of Jodorwsky but I've never read The Incal or Before The Incal.

I've yet to read it impqueen, but once i do you'll be the first to know my thought on it! I too am a massive fan of both, but more of the latter. I grew up reading about and ogling over what little i could find of Mœbius' magnificent artwork. A few books i did come across later were always in French, so this English version is really welcome indeed. This is the British version which is uncensored and retains Mœbius' original colouring (unlike the U.S one). There's a lot of praise for The Incal from nearly everyone who's read it, although it does get a little head trippy along the way, apparently - but hey, this is Jodorowsky we're talking about!

This is the 2nd time I've ordered Essex County, the first time being the first of three consecutive orders that I had to cancel from Forbidden Planet because I'd had enough of waiting (the other two being Jeff Lemire's The Nobody and Batman: No Man's Land Vol 3). They are truly the shittest online suppliers I've ever used, the fact they don't let you know if anything is in stock or not when you're ordering (or even when you're waiting) is absolutely mental.

I got Sweet Tooth Vol 1 a couple of weeks back and thought it was great, I'm really looking forward to seeing how the story pans out. Lemire's become my favourite comic book writer of late, his art is fantastic too, and I've even added Green Arrow to my pull list as a result of him taking it over.

Book Depository and Books2AnywhereUS currently have it in stock via Amazon Marketplace. A few other places have it as well but I've used the aforementioned companies a number of times and am happy with their service so I pretty much only use them as far as the marketplace goes.

Transmetroplitan is something which wouldn't really make a whole lot of sense if you don#t read it from the start. It is also as mad as a bag full of badgers.

Sounds perfect!

Transmetropolitan is superb - as mentioned it is pretty bonkers but brilliantly imagined!

I have picked up Berserk manga Vols 1-6

I can vouch for Books2AnywhereUS via Amazon - service is good and reliable...

Does anyone use the Comixology app? I recently purchased a Surface RT and the app looks fantastic with all manner of comics/graphic novels for consumption. I haven't actually picked anything up from there yet but they have Invincible which is awesome!

Won an Ebay bid. This is out of print and so tough to find now new. Managed to get it for £55 including p and p for the Hardcover Edition.

Not bad, considering the price new would have been £50 at best when it was in print.

Not sure whether to start this or get the third Witchblade Compendium first. Building a really nice Hardcover Top Cow collection :)

Is it not a lot cheaper to just go through Book Depository's website, rather than incurring the postage costs from Amazon Marketplace?

The price of the postage is deducted from the price of the item so it costs exactly the same. I've often found that they've got stuff in stock via the marketplace when they're out of stock on their website proper. It's all rather odd but I just find it convenient to do most of my shopping under one roof so to speak.

Anyway, as for what I've bought I've had to order Batman No Man's Land vol. 3 again. I'm really not sure why it's so hard to get hold of but in the end the only place I could find it for a non-extortionate price was via a US retailer on Amazon marketplace. It cost me £14.90 + £2.80 P&P. I'm not sure what the situation with import tax is on books or what the threshold is so I dunno if I'm going to end up having to pay any extra on delivery.

Damn my collector's OCD, I haven't even been enjoying the series that much but I've started collecting it so I'll have to finish.

Enjoy! i've got the whole collection. A couple of the volumes are quite hard to find, I think it's volume 15 that's the tough one. I managed to find it for a resonable price at the time. Read this about 3 or 4 times all the way through. One of the definitive manga!

This was £43 including P+P on Amazon so I thought i'd get in before the price goes back to £50+ or it becomes stupidly rare (Hardcover Edition).

Just need Witchblade V3 now and I have them all......except for the Tomb Raider one which goes for £1,000+ :/

Also got the latest Naruto volume whilst I was at it

Just ordered the following.

That's me more or less done for this month now. Got quite a bit on over the coming weeks so I can't be spending all my cash on comics, regardless of how much I want to. My aim over the coming months is to finish collecting Uncanny X-Factor, Sweet Tooth, Moore's Swamp Thing (before moving on to the Snyder trades) and to start on Miller's Daredevil run.
