Just had this delivered from The Book Depository! Amazon do not have it in stock yet, so I was surprised to see it available at TBD! Really looking forward to reading it.

I see Harry you've also ordered. Thanks for bringing Saga to my attention mate!

Lol! I just finished the 1st issue, really liking what i'm seeing. I have to say that the TPB is such a handsome package too, the smooth white cover which is akin to an iPod version of a TPB! The paper quality inside is really nice. I think Image are fast becoming my favourite comic house at the moment, on the evidence of the past comics i've read like Elephantmen and the awesome Prophet.

EDIT: and the price is freakin' insane; £6.63! That works out at £1.10 an issue!

I'm more concerned about Azraels posture. He looks like he's gurning one out or just sharted.

Won an Ebay lot last night I really wasn't expecting - meaning a four hour round trip to Derbyshire tonight to pick them up!

235 Marvel Collectors Editions - should keep me busy. There's also some JLA/Batman stuff in there

Did Kelley Jones draw that cover as it looks like his weird posture for Batman?

He did indeed.

Just finished it and I really enjoyed it. Tim and Dick's 90's hairstyles are hilarious though .

That's a very good read. I've been really enjoying it monthly although the irrregularity of the releases has been doing my head in a bit. Another great recent title by Image to go alongside Saga (it's not as good as Saga but it is very good IMO).

Anyone else been reading Epic Kill?

Yeah I've not heard much about it and I just needed something to kill some time this evening. Glad to hear it's good. Been loving Saga so far too. I miss the letters page.

PROG. 1807: 2000AD has to be the BEST comic around today - it just keeps getter better every week. And this Prog has a really awesome surprise in it.

SWAMP THING VOL 1: Bought this for only £5.99 from WH Smiths thanks to a £5.00 discount voucher! Heard some really good word on this not least from this very forum, looking forward to reading it.

Nice. I've been enjoying the hell out of Swamp Thing. Snyder's crafted a really good tale but it's Paquette's art work that really makes it. Some of his page layouts are unbelievably good and his ink work is beautiful. If you enjoy that then I'd seriously recommend Animal Man which I slightly prefer as I think the character is a bit more interesting. The Rotworld crossover between the titles feels like it's going to be absolutely epic.

£3.30 for the set including P+P!

I took a chance on an ebay auction. The description read Bad Blood 1-4 but the image was of something else.....took a punt and hoped I got the below which is why I think I got them at much less than 50% of the price I usually see them go for. They usually go for at least £10-12

The series was never collected into a TPB until the omnibus series as far as i'm aware, this will be my first reading.

A good comic but I may skip volume 3 if the used one someone is trying to sell for £1,100 on Amazon is anything to go by.

Is that the final BPRD collection furry? I bought the first volume and it was an absolute joy to read. Unfortunately i got a little side tracked with other comics and i must come back into the fold! I think vol 2 will be my next purchase.

Yup, it's the final volume collecting the Plague of Frogs arc. The current BPRD series is now on the Hell On Earth arc, but not sure when that will start being collected in the omnibus editions. They have enough ancillary material to make a few bridge volumes anyway (hopefully they'll collect 1946 - 48 at some point!) I think Dark Horse are doing paperback versions of these as well at an even cheaper price, though I prefer the hardbacks!

I picked up Red Wing after seeing you mention it recently again. Looking forward to reading it as a whole.

The hardback is a must! I'd rather pay extra and get that than the paperback because the quality of it is so damn brilliant. Talking of BPRD i must also get back on track with the Hellboy trades. I have the first two but i understand vol 3: The Chained Coffin is when things start getting interesting!
