That's it. That's the point her crazy made my brain melt. We all saw that guy as a desperate William the Bloody wanna-be, right?!) - I'm guessing we'll have a plethora of attempts at posh-types.
That will probably hail from Richard Curtis Land.




I'm beting they are all as you say Richard Curtis Posh type fey who take tea because it's civillised or the "Cor blimey 'ello Mary Poppins" type fey. because you know that is the only two types of people that live in England.

 Seeing as I am such a kind, generous soul (and not in any way because I lost another Scrabble game), I have decided that you good people deserve a little taste of Skin Trade
To this end, I have produced a reading of the main sex scene, which I present here for your edification.
Caution: This video contains an atrocious attempt to sound like a Shakespearean actor and a really, really bad sex scene (being read out. I'm not attempting to recreate it or anything). And a foolish hat.

 A friend I allowed to see this video said I looked like a younger Terry Pratchett in that hat.
Was actually a cowboy hat I bought at least 16/17 years ago.
It definitely worked out as a better buy than the ill-advised cowboy boots I got around the same time.
I thought they were cool but I rarely dared to wear them out cos the noise from the heels made it sound like I was wearing stilettos. They weren't quiet!

Apparently the Anita Blake tv show has been stopped in its tracks yet again. LKH has claimed she pulled out of the deal because she didnt want to comprimise her vision. HA! Meaning they wanted to add a plot and possibly more women to the show.

Theres also blog where she complains about recent TV shows being made of the genre she "pioneered". A clear dig at True Blood, Harry Dresden, Blood Ties, Vampire Diaries. (the last two predate LKH I believe)

I havent looked for much LKH fodder in a while but its nice to see she is still an insane bitch.

 Well I'm impressed that I'm half way through and there's only been one sex scene. I'm sure that has to be a record for her. Other than that I'm not quite sure about what's actually happening. Apart from the Goddess turning up at every possible opportunity, scattering rose petals and making the place smell like a pot pourri bomb has hit, I'm not sure whether anything has happened.

 Sounds as strange as her other books. I've got to admit I re-read the Merry Gentry books recently and didn't find them as bad as Anita Blake.

My theory if you can call it that, is that with Merry she was suppossed to be trying to get pregnant so the loads of sex fitted in with the story. With Anita where she started off as Chaste and pureish the whole lots of sex, with diffrent partners never sat right.
