What a prick. If he had a problem with the voting system why didn't he say so before? Would he still be frothing about it had Romney won? Hipocrite cunt.

I think what is kinda sad is that Trump is just being the shameless self promoter of old. In what could be considered Obama's finest hour, people are giving this fuckwith the oxygen of publicity.

Delighted Obama won, was not quite as close as I thought it would be. I actually thought it was quite conceivable that the popular/electoral college vote could be split.

The race for the House/Senate is equally interesting, fine win for Elizabeth Warren and good to see Todd Akin and Mourdock get the boot after their nonsensical ramblings on issues that they know nothing about.

Comment on twitter along the lines of  "Don't worry Akin, if its not a genuine candidicy then the public have a way of shutting that whole thing down"......which raised a smile.

Well done to Obama... now sort out the friggin economy and please shut down Guantanamo Bay, oh and please try talking to people a bit more in the next 4 years...

To the Republicans, stop being such tools and try to work with the guy, then you may just have an ounce of fucking credibility at the next election...!

Yeah, and they might want to flush out the misogynists and rape-apologists while they're at it.

Brilliant news for America and the world - his first term was really stymied by petty political partisanship but hopefully this time around there will be more collaboration in congress and he can pass through the constructive measures he attempted in his first four years. I strongly hope that Obama can make positive reforms that will last after he leaves office.

This is awesome and he deserved re-election for this alone. I think in the hands of some other president or PM, it would seem tokenistic or false, but I think Obama has the personal touch that appears genuine.

I'm not on Twitter, but I've just had a look at Trump's account.

Fuck, his spiralling anger is hilarious. "WHY IS THE PRESIDENT PLAYING BASKETBALL?"

2016: I predict the Republicans will put forward Marco Rubio, their current ethnic superstar, as the prime candidate. Possibly with Chris Christie as VP?

That would be a ticket, I think, that might have a decent chance.

Trump is batshit insane. Yesterday he said-

quote:

If you experience any harassment or heckling at the polling places from Obama supporters, make sure you report it immediately

What the fuck has he been doing if not harassing or heckling? Also-

Before polling closed:
quote:

Whoever wins today, remember that tomorrow we still have a country struggling. Our work is not done until America is strong again.

After Obama won:
quote:

Our country is now in serious and unprecedented trouble...like never before.

Keep taking the meds Don, fucking hell.

Could they win the election, yes (and from what I've seen of him Rubio comes across as an ok guy)
But could they win the primarys? Not a chance unless the tea party are kicked to the curb.

Real worry for the GOP now shouldn't just be that Mitt lost, but that he was the best canditate they could find...

I was just coming onto post Trump's twitts but you beat me to it. I think the man is genuinely having a psychotic break, he deserves only our pity and humanity.

I did find this: http://www.guardian.co.uk/world/2012/nov/07/karl-rove-fox-news-obama

And I understand that that is their problem. Good piece on that here: http://www.guardian.co.uk/commentisfree/2012/nov/07/mitt-romney-lost-election-republicans (apologies to Sinatra for linking to yet another Guardian article )

Unless GOP wake the fuck up and embrace women, gays, blacks, latinos , atheists (God forbid!) yada yada, they are doomed in the general election because their batshit insane right wing alienates those Americans who aren't utterly deranged.

I'm more concerned at Obama's pledge (again) to bipartisan co-operation with GOP. Boehmer has already indicated that the republicans have no intention of working with him (re the fiscal cliff) and Obama wasted his first term trying to get those pricks on board with any single piece of legislation. Why throw away all that effort again. That said, quite how anything can be done when the GOP control the house, and the senate is not filibusterproof is beyond me. Oh for the happy 90's when the republicans were considered to be extreme in their partisanship!

Anyway, well done America on selecting the saner choice. Now, President Obama, good luck, but please knock all the civil liberties abuse on the head and for the love of common sense, cut out all the extra-judicial murder by way of drone strikes in the middle east. It does fuck-all to address terrorism substantively, but certainly ensures that you kill innocent men women and kids and gives the nutters out there cause to call the US on its hypocrisy and increase the threat level.

Surprised it wasn't closer - in loose terms, Obama still faces the problem of being blocked at every opportunity, I'm pleased he won, it would have been nice for the real Mitt Romney to run, speaking to American friends they say he was at one time fairly moderate in some issues, sharing many beliefs and policy ideas of the 'other side' however as we all know he became known for his flip-flops and pandering to tea party ideals. Americas ever changing demographic surely has to spend the end of this movement, but I have my doubts, and no doubt Ryan will run for the nomination next time, and that guy is crazy, he makes Romney look like a weed smoking, free love advocating liberal. The Republicans are in dire need of modernisation. But for now I fear they will still be a huge block on real progress.

I wish Romney won this. I miss the comedy days of Bush being an idiot, Obama bores me to death. The world needed more quotes like ''Binders full of women'' and ''I like Big Bird''.

Gotta hand it to Bill, it's not easy getting so many things wrong usung so few words.

Mind you if Bill wants the white establishment to grow, he could try including women that would double thier numbers straight away...or is Bill saying the GOP is now a minority interest party and no longer repesenting the average American?? Does he even listen to what he says anymore.

Yeah, Schizophrenia is terrible. He probably shouldn't be working on national TV if his illness is causing him to say ridiculous and potentially dangerous things.
