Come on Mods I think at least a 10 week ban is a must. Maybe 11 just to be on the safe side!

Timon: You sir are a very lucky man. And should you manage to escape the totally justified ban then we need regular spoiler-free updates on how awesome it is!

God...imagine if it's rubbish!?!?!

Me neither!      I need new wallpaper for my work PC!

Edit: Got one!  As much as I wanted to gaze upon Sean Bean all day I decided on this one

See if anyone knows what it is (at work that is, not here cos of course you'll know what it is  ) - on my laptop you can't see the bottom where it says Game of Thrones so it won't give it away

Nice!

If this isn't available on iTunes I'm pretty screwed though as I don't have SKY. I really don't want to wait for DVD so I'm crossing my fingers but I don't think it's going to happen!

Well, I've seen the first two episodes and they're great. Will probably watch the third tonight. They've got the missus hooked and she's ploughed straight in to the first book and is already half way through.

Anyway, if anyone is curious, the review for the first episode (my review!) is up at Den of Geek - http://www.denofgeek.com/television/854619/game_of_thrones_episode_1_review_winter_is_coming.html

I NEED to see this. I simply can't wait until the DVD or until iTunes has it. Any suggestions? I don't have any relatives in America so not sure how that works.

Any help is much appreciated.

If you want to discover a relative in the US then I can PM you and tell/show you how to do so. If not I'm sure it will be available to watch on the internet via a site somewhere....

Does anyone mind if I give Ti a temporary ban until it's finished? No? Didn't think so....

Just watched the first episode - wow.

I had goosebumps all the way through, it was just like watching Fellowship of the Ring for the first time, when I knew the source material so well and was actually watching these scenes that I'd played out in my head so many times.

The casting seems perfect - especially Cat, Cersei and Jaime. Tyrion's entrance perfectly encapsulated his character, and Arya is adorable - she is my favourite character in the books so I look forward to seeing more of her in the coming episodes.

Being such a fan of the books it's inevitable to have a couple of gripes, but these are minor and insignificant. Can't wait till next week.

Oh yeah, forgot - the opening credits are just incredible.

I think this may work better by DVD boxsetting it (which brings us back to banning Timon ). But Hourlong eps and multi ads are not fun. I think I'll series link and immerse completely in it at the end.

Or me.

I enjoyed this. Although this first episode did mainly feel like scene setting it did have it's fair share of incident. Certainly got me interested to see the rest. What is it with the guys in this universe and their sisters though? Very weird.

How did you avoid ads? Did you time shift?
