Awwww pickle!  I hope you feel ok!  I did that once just before a driving lesson...ok, it wasn't a chair, it was a fence...and it wasn't a driving lesson, it was a driving test...but I know how you feel!

The nice men have gone away and left us with lots of new 'lecky things round the house, including two fire alarms.  I'll admit I was somewhat surprised to discover the massive hole in my ceiling, but now it's covered by a thing that potentially could save my life!  Yay!  Only downside - the power has been off all day (till just now) and I've been squinting at books in my bedroom in the near darkness.  meh.

 Evening girlies!

And welcome, zuccicelia.

I'm just back from work and am in my PJ's with a big mug of tea. Mmmm. It's been a peculiar day full of oddities at work, and I have a headache from coughing and sneezing. My aloe vera Vaseline is fab though!

How annoying is it when you buy boxes of tissues because you have a cold, and then as soon as you do so the cold goes on the wane. This is exactly what happened to me. Snot was streaming out of my nose all morning and I had no tissues, just toilet paper, so I bought 2 boxes and almost immediately my nose dried up.  I mean, it's great that my nose has stopped running but that's £1.80 I needn't have spent.

 Wow, I wish that all cold symptoms could be treated that easily!  Imagine a world where you could get rid of a cold before it starts hurting for the bargain price of £5!  How great would that be?!  I'm jealous, I've bought tissues and my cold's staying exactly the same.  bah.

I know what you mean though, it is really irritating when you buy something and then discover that you have no need for it at all.  I'm sure the tissues will come in handy, JV.  Tissues are always handy, especially when you discover that 'toilet paper' inexplicably didn't feature on the last shopping list!

 Y'know what though, Cray, Rocky's looking after my babies (the Nintendogs, that is) while I'm away. I'm giving him my DS and all my games for 3 months, for him to play with and look after! I've actually got quite a few games now. I'm proud of my little collection!

 Morning girlies! How is everyone? It's flipping cold this morning - I really ought tpo go and get dressed but I seriously can't be bothered. I also ought to do some revision but somehow studying the transport of oxygen holds very little appeal to me right now.

On the very big plus side I went sales shopping (again) yesterday. I bought another pair of combats, although this time they cost £40 instead of £5. Thankfully my Mum bought them for me because my jeans are looking, in her words, "a little rough". And I'm trying to wear jeans less now since I've lived in them for years, so now I have four pairs of combats aswell.  I also went bra shopping (ugh) and did manage to get about six nice bras. Gotta love M&S. Finally, and most excitingly, to me anyway, I went and bought Garden State, a Goo Goo Dolls album and a Powell and Pressburger boxset in HMV, all for £36. And I had vouchers so it cost me only £6. That was a good day.

I have panda eyes right now because I ran out of eye make up remover.

Hey Krazy, hey Girls!! I need some advice, since yesterday, I have had an ache in my lower back, in my coccyx I think, I've taken painkillers, but to no avail. I don't know how I did it, whether it was the way I slept the night before, or I was doing something that caused it. It's not bad at the moment, but should I see the doctor now, just in case??

 Donald, I don't know what you've done or how you've done it and if you're worried then go to see someone, although it's probably a little soon. Also, you'd be better off with a physiotherapist or an osteopath really since they have a more localised specific knowledge. If you want to try something before you do that then lie down on your back with your knees bent and your arms out to the side of you. That's the best position for all your back muscles to relax, so just stay there as long as you can be bothered. I always get bored after 10 minutes but that's me.

Odd - I know. And I was wearing super strength waterproof mascara stuff in case the film I was watching made me cry so soap and water is not working. Damn it.

What film were you watching? That super-strength stuff is a pain - good for fighting crime though.
