Shame for Watson and Robson but both played well despite not being at their best.

Yeah pirty for Robson but she's only turning 19 and will only get better.

Andy was woeful this morning, the young lad looks a player, has all the shots just about, moves very well but is just too inconsistent at the moment. Definately a top 50 player though. Andy however will have to improve if he seriously wants to mount a challenge this tournament, he looked bereft of ideas, his movement was lacklustre and his concentration wasn't there most of the match. Despite this, the draw has opened up for him with Del Potro's shock demise so thats a major boon for him to have a real shot at getting to the semi's once more, but he really needs to up his game now.

If you're not watching it turn on Djokovic-Wawrinka now - into a 5th set after Wawrinka played an incredible tiebreaker to force the decider. Upset could well be on the cards, but worth watching because the quality of play is staggering.

I got up to watch the football but it was on Eurosport and I thought I was watching highlights till I saw the score, what a match! What can you say about Djokovic though that hasnt been said before, 'the man is a wall' as the great Mats Wilander said during it - couldn't have put it better myself!!

I was gutted for Wawrinka, God knows how he'll feel when he sees the replay of that break point at 4-4 (I think) in the 5th that he didn't challenge.

And the invincible Novak carries on.

Random thought time, but it occurred to me earlier that Murray is the only guy in the top 4 (soon to be 5) to have beaten Djokovic in a 5th set. Nothing to do with Wawrinka really, but it was an interesting "Oh" moment.

Shame about the Gasquet v Tsonga match being a bit of a let down due to Gasquets inability to fight for every point. Yes there were some brilliant shots and points played by both players but everytime I watch Gasquet I can't help thinking what a missed opportunity his career will be when he ends it as he has all the talent in the world, just not the will to equal it.

I felt for Simon this morning watching him as he was clearly exhausted and it looked tortuous at times for him out there. Fair play to him though for going the whole distance though.

I'd like to watch the Djokovic v Berdych match but its on from about half 6 in the morning and I am feeling knackered today for sitting up to watch Andy so its doubtful I'll be able to see the world number one get tested once more.

Is it me or does Ferrer looked to have bulked up a bit this year? Maybe trying for a few extra mph on his serve and winners speed.

He does look a little bigger in the arm department.

So Novak is in the Semi Finals...I feel sort of bad that I never want him to win his matches...

Utterly astonishing display from Djokovic, he was white hot today. I haven't seen Ferrer torn apart like that in years and in the end you felt sorry for him for the gulf between the two. Us Murray and Federer fans will have to hope Djokovic has peaked in that semi and that either of the two are on very top form because if not Djokovic will win this tournament easily.

Gutted for David, really gutted as was he. Novak was in another place, a stunning display.

I'm pleased Sharapova lost, I like Li Na both as a player and person, she comes across very well. As for our defending champion and her nine minute time out...that was fucking stupid, I hope Na goes on to win.

Is it me or are the crowd behind Federer as they would an underdog? Or am I paranoid?

I'm only able to follow this on the beeb website. They just put up this. Is your real name Jason?

Jason Drawmer on Twitter: "Murray has come full circle - it's like the crowd have sided with Federer as the underdog!"

Glad it's not just me then. There are roars when Federer wins a point whereas all Murray seems to be getting is polite applause

He's got the nostalgia factor these days, along with the bonus of still being good enough to get this far into big tournaments.

Even when he plays Rafa in Spain he gets a polite reception

Yesterday I was avoiding talking to Indian colleagues. Today I am winding up Swiss customers. I do love managing my relationships vicariously through the sporting achievements (or not) of people who happen to have been born in (or at least represent) a country I can associate myself with.

Bring it home Andy. 3rd consecutive Major final, let's see if he can make it two WINS in a row

He'll be the first guy in the Open Era to win his first two majors back to back by the way if he does.

Tell me about it, I made the mistake of phoning my gran after Murray had lost the fourth set and she said I sounded a bit angry!

From the off today I knew Andy was going to win; every facet of his game came together and he completely outplayed Federer in all areas. You have to credit the great man for raising it in the tie-breakers, but apart from that Andy was in total control.

Roll on the final, COME ON ANDY!!!!!!

Andy could easily have won that in 3 but I still enjoyed (mainly because he eventually won) the 5 sets. I would love for him to win this but having watched Novak demolish the lovely Ferrer I sadly can only see the world number one getting three Aussie Opens in a row.

I think thats the best I've ever seen Nole play, but sometimes you get matches like that when the player can do no wrong. I'm not sure he'll be able to play like that against Andy as he won't be allowed to, but one things for sure, it'll be another long one!

Anyone watching the Women's Final? It is certainly full of incident, poor Li Na has gone over twice on her ankle and smashed her head.
