I've got into a nice pattern of 1 hour of indoor footy on Monday nights and 2 hours of gym on Thursdays and Fridays nights and the results are good.

The weight isn't exactly falling off, however, it is toning up impressively, the moobs are decreasing rapidly!

I went to get weighed today and I have lost 2lbs.

Not a huge amount I know, but better than nothing.

Always good.

I'm down to 208lbs now so another 10-15lbs off would be great. Moobs also decreasing. It's mostly my tortoureous diet that's doing it. Salad at lunch and not much for dinner. Excercise is mainly walking in and out of work with an hour of badminton once a week. Do sit ups and press ups now and then to help toning as well as my weights so the moobs are getting firmer as well.

Clothes are all rather baggy now especially trousers. Girlfriend is getting worried about how boney I am in certain places (no dirty comments please).

So all in all, it's going well.

295?! Fuck me that's a lot.

My workbench at home has a max of 30kg. Not much at all so it's mostly reps of 40.

I seem to be putting weight on which is annoying, student lifestyle makes it so difficult to eat healthy and exercise regularly.

I've been running and generally doing more sporty stuff since the beginning of January, and I've lost about 1kg.

I have been asked if I've lost weight though, so I must be toning up. I've definately lost some weight around my face, which is cool. I've just got a lot more muscle now.

Gah.

I swear i've been 204-5lbs for the past 2 weeks. Just can't seem to break through this wall. My friend reckons i've reached my 'suitable weight' ....which is clearly bollocks.

Looks like i'm going have to couple this dieting with some excersise apart from walking. Think there's an old excersise bike in the loft but the pedal straps broke long ago. Time to get all DIY on it i think.

I'm the opposite of all you slimmers.

I'm trying to gain weight. 6ft 5 tall and weigh between 12 st 5 lb and 13 st, currently 12 st 8 lb.

Canna be arsed to go to the gym. I'll happily run around after a ball for a couple of hrs but weights and the like hold no appeal. Plus I hate the general "dodgeball" vibe at gyms.

Anyway, hope you all succeed.

Well I've not been specifically trying, but I've lost 2 stone this year so far and 5 1/2 stone last year.  Still more to go though, but as I'm not trying to lose it I'll carry on with this plan.  It seems to be working whatever it is.

It's when he starts suggesting that you put off your wedding and experiment a little, that you should become worried.

Nice one though!

Kind of the same here. Everyone is saying I look a tad ridiculous in overly baggy shirts and trousers....problem is I can't afford a new wardrobe so it'll have to do for now.

Funky, 2 stone so far?! That's very impressive. Nice work.

I'll lose another stone and that's it.

Wow, you guys are doing very well!  Diets/exercise/healthy eating plans only usually last about two weeks for most people.

Funky that's amazing! Well done! How???? Share your secret.... I suspect my utter lack of will power has something to do with my continual failure in the dieting area.... I don't seem to put on much weigh, I just can't lose any either!

I genuinely have no idea!  I think it's stress, that's all it can be really.  When I get stressed or upset over something I have this bad habit of forgetting to eat.  Although I suppose there is also the fact that I walk around 4 miles a day.  That might be helping some.

Afternoon everybody.

Anybody got any tips for weight loss stuff? Like Createne? Is is worth it? Or dodge city? I've heard a lot of horror stories about it.
Anybody got any recommendations?

Ta.

That's a bit pricey...my gym costs about £30 a month, but I only go for the spa and to ogle the ladies

I have lost about 4kg in the last week and a half, all from weights, cardio and cutting down my portions.

Yeah trying hard at the moment, but got a lot on my plate, and the gym is nearly down to 1 night a week at the moment.
Feel like all my momentum has stalled, you know?

Not me. I'm happy with my upper body definition at the moment. I recommend the Bruce Lee trick. Use a dumbbell when working. And go to the gym otherwise.

I am working to tone my body right now and I also want to lose a bit more weight.  I am a size 6 now and can almost get into a 4.  For my height, that is about right - not too skinny and not to heavy.

I've been doing the weights but I've found the balance ball really has kicked me in the stomach.  You have to really work to balance it out and in just a few weeks I've noticed the definition of my abs starting to reappear after months of pretty much eating whatever and not exercising at all.

What should I eat if I want to put weight on, but not just belly and boobs? I want my arms and legs to fill out too - not muscle, just not sticks.
