I have no idea how I have done it but I recently found a pair of 32 inch waist trousers I have not worn in seven or eight years. I appear to fit into them with two or three inches to spare.

I thought I was still a 33 - 34. It may explain those extra holes I have had to put in my belt.

Yep, really good going, sanch.

I quite often think that the 8 inches I lost from my waist is a more impressive statistic than the amount of weight I lost.

It's a great feeling though, isn't it!

I'm still getting used to the feeling of trying on jeans in the shop and realising I need a smaller size

Anyone else watching The Hairy Dieters? It was always common sense that you could eat well and keep it healthy, but seeing the amazing looking meals they're making, and seeing how thin they look as the series is progressing, is really inspiring

Been hitting the gym for a few months now. Though it's been weight training mostly. I've only just recently been adding cardio to the mix.

Still I feel better for it all. I've definitely gotten stronger so far. Feel better in myself. Though my fitness must be crap. Went to a kickboxing class a while ago and just could not keep up. Frustrating to say the least.

So I'll be hitting more cardio rowing machine, cross trainer, bike so far but want to start swimming, spinning class and running (dreading the latter) soon.

Diet wise at work I'm generally good ... though recently been a bit lax as I've just been so busy. I generally cheat ... Friday and Saturday. Though it does get less and less of an issue now.

I have hit that sweet spot of making it a lifestyle choice. Right now I couldn't imagine not going.

Goodbye stone number 3, I grew to know you so well. We had such great times over pints and eating kebabs. But now ye are no more.

On to number 4 now then. Got an outside chance that I might just slice another few pounds off before my hols in a couple of weeks too.

Joined a gym last week (mainly because the wife wanted someone to go with) so let's see how that goes! Decided to combine it with MFP strictly for a few weeks to see what happens....

Forgot to tell you that I found out Wednesday that I've lost two stone since June doing Weight Watchers.

Ive lost a stone and half in just under two years, but this is because of interruptions to gym training, over stressing at university, and multiple sickness episodes. Not really what I needed.

So due to some bad family news, and Mum taking it out on me by ripping into me about my weight last December I started a charity weight loss at New Years in aid of a local cancer charity (as that was the bad family news).

This ends on Sunday, and as it stands I've lost 26 pounds, (meaning including my work matching what I raise I'll have raised 394 for Charity) which means I have another 41 to go and then I'll be happy with my weight, 55 and I'll probably be doing cartwheels around York for weeks!!
