Bloody hell! All that turtle stuff.... It makes me feel like puking! Is that the attitude that made Britain great, talking about turtles all day?

Either way, he's a shite actor (see end of video).

Amusing though and I did find myself agreeing with him....about certain things. Don't really think you should see Krang in live action mode.

Not sure if I want to see the new TMNT film... I have fond memories of the 1st one and I don't want it to spoil them.... also I think the CGI looks naff and tacky

TMNT opened to a good $25 million (estimate) in the US, topping the charts.
 
Considering it only cost $34 million to make, a sequel must be a strong possibility (take that Serenity!).

Mirage Studios' Steve Murphy has posted a message on his Blog saying that a TMNT sequel is looking more and more likely:

As of two weeks ago Imagi Entertainment (the TMNT movie animation studio) informed Mirage Studios that there was a 50-50 chance of a CGI film sequel. Last week they upped the odds to 70-30 in favor of a sequel, as talks between Imagi and their distribution partners Warner Brothers and the Weinstein Group seem to be heading in a positive direction...

The numbers are in Mirage Studios' favor, as the first film raked in $92.2 million worldwide ($54M domestic, $38.1M overseas), yet cost only $34 million to make.

Awesome!

I love TMNT.  The live-action films were fun, but this is way better.  It's one of the films of the year so far for me, and I can't wait for a sequel (especially as the ending hints at Shredder returning).

Takes me back to my Childhood,  i went Turtle Mad!  Action Figures,  Comics,  Videos,  Face Paint and Pizza became my favorite food for awhile also.  Did anyone ever see the third film when they went time traveling they really lost it there.

So happy the boys might be returning.

Also, I'd like to big up Klaus Badelt's score for the film. Twas awesome. Only two tracks of his on the album but I acquired them and was listening to them last night. They're great - Love Being A Turtle & Night Watcher.

I totally agree.  It was one of the best things about the film (and that's saying a lot).  I really hope he comes back for the sequel.  Klaus Badelt is one of my favourite composers, and it's a real shame that the soundtracks for Equilibrium and Ultraviolet haven't been released.

 I just watched TMNT on DVD with the director's commentary on and hopefully a sequel will get made soon.

I was curious to see if Kevin Munroe answered the one question that niggled me about the film - where have the 13 Monsters been hiding for 3000 years. And he did. Apparantly, the 13 monsters are meant to represent the creatures of legend that have penetrated human mythology hence why one looks like Bigfoot, one looks like the Loch Ness monster and one is a vampire-esque bat. He said they never said it and he didn't want to ram that sort of information down the audience's throat.....but it would have made things clearer.

I loved turtles too they took the world by storm in the 80s . I loved the cartoons and the movie was great i just have one thing to say

Is TMNT worth seeing then? I've heard such extremely mixed reviews but The Gellar is in it so I'm torn on whether to bother.
