Yep, good episode all round. Gripping, Jack getting angry, Jack giving up and wanting it all to end, and then his Dad leaving him. Even tho he was a bastard i felt a bit sad knowing he gone and no one knows where. Maybe he'll turn up again?  Another old face back in, ol' rubber face from the last series and i don't think he's gonna be particularly nice to Jack.

Yeah, I really like his character. That whole speech Jack shouted at him down the phone about they're being no legacy left when he killed them all, was really cool. Part of me hopes that he doesn't turn up for the rest of the season and could maybe pop up again in other seasons as a villian/reluctant ally in some shape or form. We need someone to replace Nina...

I think his Dad's characters too strong and important to just get rid of after 8 episodes (is it 8? or is it 9?). Would definatley like to see him in it again, nice or nasty

Wasn't too mad about it myself. How did they manage to transport a drone just after a nuclear explosion? Whats the odds that Logan dies a brave death while whispering some apology with his last breath?

I still feel that day 6 is lacking momentum. Rewatching season 5 recently showed how gripping that season was through-out. While day 6 is a bit slow and inconsistent. I'm dissapointed so far despite some great episodes it just isn't the same. However, i'm not going to give up and i'm sure the writers are leading to something so much better.

Good ending, but took far too long getting to it. This day is not turning out to be the best by a long shot

Season 6 has had some of 24's best moments so far but unlike Season 5 which was just continually gripping this Day is just so inconsistent...

Agreed, it has had a lot of quite amazing moments with a lot of emotion, and some real nasty scenes (the Lost boys impression-god seems like ages ago) and some real nail biters and shocks, but like you said, its not consistent. There's a huge plot going on which is taking too long to unfold

So did nobody else think that last nights episode was one of the best so far? It was the first episode where i was really really tense and actually shouted at the tv!!

Snap!
Really felt I was getting back into it again.
It actually needed an episode like that.

Hmmm, I was pretty bored with that episode actually. And when I wasn't bored, I was simply frustrated at the whole predictability of it all. The few highlights, Jack breaking into the embassy (I was shouting at the TV, "No, remember what happened last time!"), Jack cutting off finger and...oh, that's it.

I quite enjoyed that episode actually. Jack was good and the stuff at the white house wasn't bad. Definately one of the better episodes of the season.

It was just filler, but was needed to get the story along. The end of it was good, 2 hours until devestation and how on earth is CTU going to rescue Jack and get to the terrorists location in that short amount of time?? I suppose it's 24 after all.

It seems to be going somewhere finally, after all the hecticness of the opening few hours it seems to have lost its power to really excite, but this episode really had me getting all worked and and when the episode finished i finally shouted at the tv "NO NOT FUCKING NOW!!!". I'm also excited about the vice president, the first character to have a real presence about him because to be honest i think Wayne Palmer is a crap president. I know the vice president is going to be a bastard, and i know he's not going to be nice to Jack, but thats how every season goes, and this guy looks really nasty. I'd rather everyone was nice to Jack, but that just never happpens

A much improved episode with a good shock moment that seemed inevitable throughout the episode. The lack of Jack did not bother me much as the strongest aspect seems to be between the Vice-President Daniels played by Powers Boothe who totaly owns every scene he is in and Lennox who has become one of the best new characters. Still not a patch on season 5 though.

I agree, the Vice President has a massive prescence and is really adding some weight to this series

Another gripping episode and another hark back to a previous series (in this case Series 2's Cyprus recordings fiasco)

Logan...He was flatlining, so what happened, he be dead or what?

Aaron Pierce...if that's his only appearance this season I'm gonna be really pissed!
