When ever i hear about a forthcoming film, or indeed, read about one in empire, specifically with films that sound crap, but you want to be really really good, i just instantly dismiss said film(s) and move on. Then, when they are released, I watch said films with no expectations..no positivity..no nothing.

Check out www.theyrehere.net guys, I am intrigued. I usually just stalk these forums, but I had to register to find out what was going on. Anybody have any ideas? The movie is on Twitter under @theyrehere2010 too, quite a bit of trending.

However, little information has been released. What is this? Any ideas?

Frustrating me!!

So, 2011.... As far as I can work out, these are (some of) the BIG films expected -

TRANSFORMERS 3
MISSION: IMPOSSIBLE 4
PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN 4
THOR
CAPTAIN AMERICA
GREEN LANTERN
CONAN
THE GREEN HORNET
Spielberg's TINTIN

Why am I not excited about any of the above....?

Add to above list X-MEN: FIRST CLASS.... couldn't care less. And this is coming from a loyal fan of good old-school Marvel Comics.

One film i can thoroughly recommend is "Black Swan" having recently seen this it lives up to its billing as a psychological thriller and is a real mind bender which should be no surprise coming from Darren Aronofsky. The Oscar buzz surrounding Natalie Portman is well founded, she literally suffers for her art with some very gruesome scenes that really lay bay the lot of a ballet dancer and she is faultless and totally believable throughout. Winona Ryder gets little screen time but she doesnt waste a second and creates a truely memorable character, the entire cast are on fine form, with Mila Kunis understudy and Vincent Cassel's director of the ballet both worthy of mention.  The plot keeps one guessing right to the end, with lots of tricks and turns, so you never are entirely sure what is going on until the big reveal at the end, and uses the plot of Swan Lake itself and the fact one dancer plays the black and the white Swan to great if not obvious ends.  Its definitely not a fluffy ballet movie but a very dark and disturbing thriller that happens to be set in a ballet corps.

True Grit
Black Swan
Little Red Riding Hood

as of now are the three I am most looking forward to in the coming months.

There are defantly a alarming amount of sequals/remakes coming up, but I guess I should be used to it by now

I can' wait for Dark Knight Rises and Fast Six

I'm not sure about Real Steel. If I remember correctly there was a Twilight Zone episode called Steel that was about Robot Boxers set in the future.

Hey Y'all!

I'm a long time Empire reader, first time poster. This may not be MAJOR HOLLYWOOD BLOCKBUSTER news, but to those of you who still care about independent comedy (or the Canadian film industry, lol) we have the trailer for a new mockumentary about the world's worst (or best?) film student making his first feature. If anybody is interested, please check the trailer and let me know your thoughts!

Wondering what the best films of 2013 will be?

Here's an indie along the lines of Tarantino / Cohen Brothers: Nice Package.

Harry potter series in books are the best and also the movies initially have come up good and in fact very well and beyond imagination, but the recent release was kinda boring ....

We made a film, but it hasn't been released yet. Maybe it is a "future film". We're still struggling with paying for post, but we know we're going to make it and head for festivals. Hope it's okay to post here and maybe have a look and let us know what you think? http://www.indiegogo.com/projects/blood-empires/x/5728643
