Currently watching Chopper, and will be following it with Bronson.

Not seen either, but I'd like to. That sounds like a great double bill.

Thursday Night I watched Shoot Em' Up then Deep Blue Sea. Enjoyed both a lot and they looked great on Blu Ray.

Here are a couple of double-bills that are often played at The Lair of Snake-Eyes -

I'd LOVE to see 'em on the BIG screen!

For a talky, character led drama fest - 'The Station Agent' & 'You Can Count On Me'

For a proper sing into your hairbrush night - 'Moulin Rouge' and 'The Commitments'

For a remenicing 80's fest - 'Flight of the Navigator' and 'Retuen To Oz'

AND to just put on two excellent films 'Stranger Than Fiction' and 'Scynedoche New York'

Withnail & I and Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas - two eminently quotable chemically charged odesseys following period layabouts with bizarre situations and characters along the way.

Sunshine and Solaris - underappreciated philosphical sci-fi.

Anchorman and Zoolander - Frat Packers at their best. And made with bits of real panther.

Saw Dawn of The Dead and Day of The Dead back to back in the GFT a couple of years ago with Ken Foree and Joseph Pilato in attendance which was incredible awesome.

Only other one I can think of at the moment is AKIRA/Ghost In The Shell

Robocop and Terminator

I saw this very double bill in '88 (not long after the initial Robocop release) and yes, it felt great. I'd missed The Terminator on its cineam release so was chuffed to see it on the big screen (even though the sound went out of sync for about 10 mins in the middle).

Next week the same cinema showed Reanimator and Ghoulies which was an experience, since at the time I'd never heard of either.
