forget the Empire review of part II - watch it after part 1 and before part III as intended and u will see how good it is.

this one goes in another direction - thank god for that, because it's just great. love it.

4 stars! really whats going on here. This is by far the worst of the 3 the whole movie was just a rehash of Spielbergs creations. This penny pinching trash is best fogotton

No way near as clever as one or two.

This film is great. Funny, buzzy and all round treat. Only issue is that it's called Back to the Future and as such it takes a while to move away from a McFly family focused film with Doc helping out to Marty helping Doc with familiar shenanigans. Also, one gets the impression that funny and entertaining is to play second fiddle to clever, if this one stands in direct comparison to two. But all three have their own strengths and weaknesses and compliment each other very well. The whole series is an absolute classic!

Back To The Future: Part III
This part as well starts off where the previous part left us and brings us to one of my favorite periodes in American history: the Wild West. But this didn`t turn out to be my favorite part of the trilogy. It is funny to see how the famous things from the first 2 movies found their origin (as there is the famous Courthouse clock), something that makes for fun and recognisable situations. But sadly it is, more than in part two, a repeat of moves. It also tends to drag on a bit too long.
But it still is a nice film with a good ending of the trilogy.

7,5/10

I used to think tihs was by far the worst of the trilogy, but after watching in the order of 2, than 1, than 3, I have to say it's really great. I don't know if it has to do with the order, but the movie is better than 2. Slower pacing for more in the way of the nostalgia of the West, unravelling Doc Brown and his story, and the level of treat which isn't the destruction of your timeline, simply getting back to the future. And it is really clever. Sure not as smart as 2, but really fun little jokes that are not too compicated. But as a trilogy, the movies are supurb, each being significantly different but always tied together.

This installment takes place in one of my all-time favorite era`s in American history: the Wild West. Marty and Doc need to find a way to get back from there to 1985, where it all started back in the first film.
It`s still a joy to see how the three stories and connections between them are connected here. It gives us a great ending to maybe not one of the best but certainly one of the most entertaining trilogies of all time.
