Surely this is a good thing? Why would anyone remake this film? It's only 22 years old, i think a lot of the charm of this movie is the fact that its so 80s, plus you just can't make them like this anymore, the world has changed! That's why we'll never get another Big Trouble in Little China... cynicism

Kaloo Kalay! Of course, there's still plenty of time for another fraternity movie that has no relevance in this country to make its mark. Why are American high school/college movies so successful over here anyway? Secondary school isn't as funny, what with all the happy slapping, sexual assaults on video phones, solvent abuse and drug-addled teenagers thinking they're bucking the system by wearing slightly-off black trousers that contradict the school's uniform code. Wait... I might have a crack at this movie malarky myself.
