Here's a couple I've done recently.

I wanted to have a go at comic colouring so I took the black & white outline from HERE and colourised it to resemple the original by Al Rio as closely as possible.

And this is a poster I made for a mates gig.

Just seen this thread for the first time and  fucking hell Quint your art is amazing.  For someone who is not a professional artist you sure as shit should be.  I LOVE the shark attack picture and is the top one above from Pan's Labyrinth?

Awesome!

I also love Caravaggio.  I went to the Tate for the first time when his paintings were shown last year and it was amazing.  I love the colour red in his paintings, it just makes them so striking.  I found myself just standing in front of the paintings in a trance.

Thanks mate cheers. im only 22 so still at uni, in my last year though so ill figure out what to do after that. Doubt it will be art based though to be honest. Yeah its from an art card that came with the pan's dvd, should get it finished tomorrow hopefully. caravaggio is incredible, the detail and his colour choice is inspired. I love his use of light and shadow, truely awesome

Just found this thread too, checked back through the pages and my god there's some amazing stuff. So I've only got stuff up here just goes up to before I started uni (NSAD), i'm in my second year (21yrs old) now, doing animation and will get some more up to date stuff on there soon. Enjoy! and Quint I love that bit you've got going from Pan's Labyrinth, both times i saw it in the cinema that shot made her appear so much taller and with the light glistening in the dust it was amazing.

I can now personally vouch for the quality of his art! His attention to details is truly remarkable.

Quints "Saw" painting is now gracefully hanging on the wall above my bed, and I've proudly shown it to everyone in my msn list! (I even have it as background on my mobile!)

So thanks again Quint! ...It's even better in real life!

Much to my employers annoyance I spend a lot of time at work drawing when I should be working. I must stress that these pictures and comic strip pages are just doodles and nowhere near the quality of some of the stuff in this thread. They are mostly just for my own amusement, but I thought I would share some with my beloved forumites!

This is from a few years ago when I could just about get away with having Noel Gallagher hair. Alas, no longer...

So is this one...

I have been counting down the days to Spidey 3 this week with little drawings at work to keep me amused...

Er... enjoy, I guess.
