ORIGINAL: bozo man, that film really rocks! When I saw it as a kid it fucking terrified me. And I though that I was the only one! Haven't read the book though, because Koontz can be such a drag sometimes. He is really the poor man's Stephen King. As for a gem... for horror, find In the Mouth of Madness, John Carpenter's best (yes you read right), with Sam Neil, about the power of the imagination. Oh yes, and there are a lot of twisty slimy things in it. And an ending to die for. Do I need to say literally? Absolution is another brilliant little gem. I think it was with Richard Burton. Have you seen Il Mostro (The Monster) with Roberto Benigni? Laughed so hard my eyes popped. And that's pretty serious! In The Mouth Of Madness is great! Loved that movie!

I've seen things you people wouldn't believe. Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion. I watched C-beams glitter in the dark near the Tannhauser gate. All those moments will be lost in time, like tears in rain. Time to die. You see, in this world there's two kinds of people, my friend. Those with loaded guns, and those who dig. You dig. There are two kinds of people in the world, my friend. Those who have a rope around their neck and those who have the job of cutting.
