I HATED this film with a passion. Like being beaten with a horror DVD whilst walking out of Hostel by a pretentious German who shouts GULITY at the top of his lungs.

My Mrs liked it and keeps threatening to buy it, If she does I will move out.

And the excellent sequal!

And im gonna recommend the unthinkable!!! a uwe boll movie.....

A surprisingly good and nasty vietnam flick sure theacting isnt amazing but imo this film proves there is at least a fraction of talent in boll and if he concentrated on stuff like this instead of garbage video game films he may surprise us.

Of course this film is destined to get 1 star in empire or any film mag as they wont bother to watch it and just assume its garbage!

Did really badly on release, (through Empire gave four stars) it's an excellent dark comedy about the dark side of kids tv with some stand-out preformances from Robin Williams and Edward Norton.

Great cast in this comedy about a family coming together for the funeral of a grandparent and family patriarch

One of Oliver Stone's most under-rated films about a controversial talk radio host whose rise to fame comes at the price of alienating those around him and growing resentment of his audience, pushing him closer to the edge as the day of the show going national draws closer.

the amazing lone wolf and cubs movies(referenced in kill bill as shogun samurai) are criminally underated,if you like samurais choppin up ninjas/samurais/whole entire armies with fountains of blood then you gotta check em out. i also quite liked versus which has ninjas/wizards/zombies galore.

oldboy has got lots of attention however the superb sympathy for mr vengeance is often overlooked

ninja scroll is a really good anime that anyone who likes action should check out.

the general, an irish movie staring brendan gleeson of in bruges fame(amongst others) is fantastic.

kung fu classics that are a must see if you can find em : mad monkey kung fu, fist of legend(definitive jet lee movie), encounters of the spooky kind(dont let the silly name put you off), master of the flying guilletine(one of the most enjoyable over the top kung fu movie ever), snake in the eagles shadow(jakie chans best) , shaolin soccer(barmy), iron monkey is also worth a look.. probably the best wire fu action you can find

The man can act!

If you're after a no brainer action film, look elsewhere...............never thought that would be said in regards to a Van Damme film!

Wah, my computer won't let me see most of the pics so cannae see what they are! Am looking forward to watching some of the ones I can though (and re-watchinng The Station Agent, lovely film!) but have recently been re-aquainted with 'Grace of my Heart' which isn't a perfect film but great fun and the music is gorgeous - score by Burt Bacharach which'll pretty much indicate if it'd be your cup of tea but also has some great performances esp Illeanna Douglas as the lead. Patsy Kensit is also in it but cannot spoil it!

25 pages, so I'm not sure if this has been posted, but I reckon that 'The Others' is a fairly underrated movie.

Just saw this on R1 DVD and it's about to be released in UK cinemas later this month.  It's not perfect and you can guess the ending within five minutes but Thurman and Wood are their usual excellent selves and it looks gorgeous (especially on Blu-ray I expect).
