Q. which movies have you watched have great soundtracks.

My Choice for today is - Moonlight Mile (starring Jake Gyllenhaal, Susan Sarandon and Dustin Hoffman)

Im not talking about just one song her folks in a whole film, im talking about the entire thing.

another choice to make you think

Garden State

UTB -> RE: Movies with Great Soundtracks (15/8/2006 11:35:59 PM)

Garden State has a great soundtrack but the film feels like a twee collection of Braffs favourite songs and little else.

Timmy_Cole -> RE: Movies with Great Soundtracks (15/8/2006 11:42:50 PM)

Natural Born Killers
Judgement Night
Reservoir Dogs
The Devils Rejects

You can't get much better than that!!

Here are some of my favourite movie soundtracks that come to my mind for a great soundtrack.

The Full Monty- Donna Summer's Hot Stuff, anyone?[;)]
Pulp Fiction- Dick Dale and His Del-tones never sounded so cool![8D]
Resevoir Dogs- You won't hear "Lime in the Coconut" in the same way, again![:)]
The Blues Brothers- Say what you want about the film, but this soundtrack is just brilliant to listen to again and again![sm=biggrin.gif]
Beetlejuice- Great film has a memorably great soundtrack-cocktail of Danny Elfman and Harry Belafonte![:D]

Probably because it's still only available in vanilla, extras-free version. [sm=893banghead-thumb.gif].  I know there was a second soundtrack volume that was released, there are a few brilliant songs in the film not on the first CD, eg. Lucky Day In Hell by Eels.
