wrenster -> RE: Wrenster's Movies On TV: Sat 29th July to Fri 4th August (1/5/2010 8:10:06 AM)

Another bank holiday weekend (didn't we just have one) and so we have a handful of family films on Monday. Elsewhere its business as usual with THE David lean epic as the film of the week.

The new listing can be found on page one.

Enjoy!

wrenster -> RE: Wrenster's Movies On TV: Sat 29th July to Fri 4th August (8/5/2010 7:50:27 AM)

So here we are without a proper government and a man who we didn't vote for still running the country. Best thing to do is stay in and watch a movie on TV. Film of the week is the toughest, most famous cop in movie history.

New listing on page one.

Enjoy!

wrenster -> RE: Wrenster's Movies On TV: Sat 29th July to Fri 4th August (15/5/2010 8:28:01 AM)

A powerful tale of abortion is this subject matter for the film of the week.

The new listing is on page one.

Enjoy!

(PS: Sorry about the technical problems with the stars. Hopefully this will be sorted by next week).

wrenster -> RE: Wrenster's Movies On TV: Sat 29th July to Fri 4th August (22/5/2010 8:26:48 AM)

Another week has gone and a step closer to the World Cup (loads of chick flicks to look forward to). Italian political thriller is the film of the week.

New listing is on page one

Enjoy!

wrenster -> RE: Wrenster's Movies On TV: Sat 29th July to Fri 4th August (29/5/2010 8:38:53 AM)

Half a year has now gone and we head into the summer, and with the World Cup next week, be prepared for less movies than normal for four weeks (or more rom coms and chick flicks). This week's best film is the grand daddy of all gangster movies.

New listing up on page one

Enjoy!

wrenster -> RE: Wrenster's Movies On TV: Sat 29th July to Fri 4th August (5/6/2010 8:09:14 AM)

The sun is shining and looks like the weather is going to stay warm...and with the start of the final Big Brother and the start of the World Cup, will anyone be watching the movies on TV? If you will be, the greatest sequel ever is the film of the week.

New listing on page one.

Enjoy!

Fab Tmobile -> RE: Wrenster's Movies On TV Listings (New Listing Every Friday) (10/6/2010 3:22:23 PM)

Busy week in film, going to have to sit down and work this one out.

wrenster -> RE: Wrenster's Movies On TV Listings (New Listing Every Friday) (12/6/2010 7:00:19 AM)

Wanting to hide from the World Cup? Then look no further than the movies on TV. A heart-breaking tale of human triumph is the film of the week.

New listing on page one.

Enjoy!

wrenster -> RE: Wrenster's Movies On TV Listings (New Listing Every Friday) (19/6/2010 5:09:11 AM)

Week two of the World Cup and once again England show every other country why we are so feared...by making matches boring! Ah well, there's always movies on the other channels. The film of the week is a classic from a master film maker from India.

New listing on page one.

Enjoy!

wrenster -> RE: Wrenster's Movies On TV: Sat 29th July to Fri 4th August (26/6/2010 7:18:28 AM)

Looks like it's gonna be a scorcher this weekend and with England playing the Germans in the final 16 of the World Cup, those looking for some decent movies, then go check out the new listing that is up on page one.

Enjoy!

wrenster -> RE: Wrenster's Movies On TV: Sat 29th July to Fri 4th August (3/7/2010 8:25:57 AM)

As we fail to ignite both the World cup AND Wimbledon...again, then drown your sorrows with a moveie or two on the old television. A powerful, heart-warming tale of the human condition is the film of the week.

New listing is up and running on page one.

Enjoy!

wrenster -> RE: Wrenster's Movies On TV: Sat 29th July to Fri 4th August (10/7/2010 8:10:04 AM)

Fans of Clint Eastwood are in for a treat this week with no less than five of his films being shown, including one that is the film of the week.

New listing on page one

Enjoy!

wrenster -> RE: Wrenster's Movies On TV: Sat 29th July to Fri 4th August (17/7/2010 7:30:36 AM)

Hard to believe that I've been doing this now for four years this week. Where has the time flown?

Happy 4th Birthday Wrenster's Movies On TV.

The film of the week we won't talk about (see what I did there?)

New listing on Page one.

Enjoy!

Firstly, thanks for all the best wishes. I had a lovely birthday party (for one!) and even popped a single party popper.

Back to this week and a nice mix of old and new, with a classic Japanese film as the one to watch.

Have a great holiday wrenster! Thanks for all the continuing hard work you put in here.

wrenster -> RE: Wrenster's Movies On TV: Sat 29th July to Fri 4th August (4/9/2010 10:38:14 AM)

I am back from my well earned rest and so the TV listing will return next Saturday!

Miles Messervy 007 -> RE: Wrenster's Movies On TV: Sat 29th July to Fri 4th August (4/9/2010 11:32:52 AM)

Welcome back! [:)]

wrenster -> RE: Wrenster's Movies On TV: Sat 29th July to Fri 4th August (11/9/2010 9:10:13 AM)

Yes, the listing is back...with a few changes.

The listing is now done in channels, there is notice of what is a network premiere and also the inclusion of what films are on Sky Premiere this week.

Please let me know if you like the changes. If not, then I cna always go back to the old way.

Enjoy!

TRM -> RE: Wrenster's Movies On TV: Sat 29th July to Fri 4th August (11/9/2010 9:32:02 AM)

I like the new format. The list probably did need breaking up a bit anyway. The one thing which really noticeable now is just how poor film4 is [:(]

wrenster -> RE: Wrenster's Movies On TV: Sat 29th July to Fri 4th August (11/9/2010 3:31:05 PM)

Glad you like it. Takes a little longer to collate but I kind of like it too.

I know what you mean about Film4...especially the same movies over and over again.

wrenster -> RE: Wrenster's Movies On TV: Sat 29th July to Fri 4th August (18/9/2010 7:42:22 AM)

Another week has come and gone, and so it's time for a new listing on page one...the new look listings.

Enjoy!

wrenster -> RE: Wrenster's Movies On TV: Sat 29th July to Fri 4th August (25/9/2010 7:47:17 AM)

As we head into October, a nice splattering of TV Premieres for those cold Autumn nights (Knocked Up, 300, Juno).

wrenster -> RE: Wrenster's Movies On TV: Sat 29th July to Fri 4th August (9/10/2010 6:38:15 AM)

Yes, I am back. Apologises for last week. Technical problems meant that it was a no-go for publication but here we are again with a solid week including a couple of Claude Chabrol films on Film4 and classic horrors on BBC4. Look out for one of my favourite films of last year Looking For Eric.

New listings on page one

Enjoy!
