I read this on another site and thought it was pretty interesting. What is a opinion you have that is not very popular?! Obviously involving movies.

Ok, here I go:

Harry Potter 3 is the only good Harry Potter movie....period.

Chronicles of Narnia is terrible.

Crash is a dreadful movie.

Batman Begins is nowhere near as good as it thinks it is.

Godfahter is miles better than Godfather 2.

Exorcist is not a good film.

LOTR trilogy is over-rated.

Star Wars is crap.......all 6 of them.

E.T. is sentimental crap which made me sleep.

Stanely Kubrick is a semi-decent director.

Steven Spielberg's greatest movie is Duel.[sm=893banghead-thumb.gif]

Buffy the TV series was only good for 2 seasons.

Terminator 2 is not very good.

Rambo sucks and so do all Sylvester Stallone movies

An adaptation of the first book in the Remnants series by K. A. Applegate would be a terrible futuristic disaster film

constantine is great
equilibrium is also great
the island was watchable

Alien 3 is amazing

LOTR smokes pole

Comic-book movies are derivative shite

Jersey Girl's quite funny

Liv Tyler/Drew Barrymore are stinking

Young Guns is superb

Spielberg's a bit of a hack

Mulholland Drive's a total fucking mess and almost unwatchable

Ed Norton annoys me

Brad Pitt's an excellent actor

I also want to add that Citizen Kane is dull and I also hate Comic Book movies[:@]

this has been done before but

Lord of The Rings was a bit dull, not enough really happend
King Kong 2005 was far too long considering the amount of story that was there. and there will still bits unexplained. maybe i just lapsed out.
Titanic however, is a classic.
Chicago was pretty good.
Jim Carrey is a superb actor
Lost In Translation was tedious.
just because a film is old/black and white/forign doesn't automaticaly make it good. and vice versa.
Batman is the best Batman film
And Adam West's classic '66 film is a proper classic. its as funny as Aeroplane.
Mission Impossible III is the best film i've seen at the cinema this year so far. Only Brick has come close.

I too think Sin City is a pile of shit, I've watched it three times trying to see what's so great but it's simply balls.

narnia is a bit twee, but has the odd bit that impresses me. tons of awful, awful dialogue tho.
batman begins did seem a bit pompous to me too
haven't seen godfather II but for about three minutes around the middle, and i found that more interesting than the entirety of godfatherI
LOTR has fallen slightly in my eyes since seeing king kong, the only movie i've ever felt like abandoning at the cinema, but is still a very good trilogy.
the only star wars movie that treads close to being bad is II. and empire is an absolute masterpiece. (no, not the magazine, the movie)
haven't seen ET in years. remember liking it tho.
only kubrick i've seen is docter strangelove. found a bit boring, but some great moments of deadpan humour. fail safe is miles better.
speilberg didn't make dune. lynch made dune. speilberg made duel. not sure which you meant.

buffy did get a bit self-parodic towards the end, but at least it found a proper ongoing plot instead of "monster-of-the-week" shenanagins. in my eyes it peaked when they killed the master. secondary peak was buffy's epitaph after she defeated glory, third peak was the death of darla.

lost in translation does drag on pointlessly, and just petered out, but like strangelove, has some great bits of deadpan (the hooker scene is priceless)
equilibrium was my favourite film for ages after i saw it. haven't seen it since, not sure how i'd view it today.

i really don't see how you can love the mummy movies but dislike POTC. i mean they're exactly the same vein of movie, played almost exactly the same way. tho neither of them make it into my favourites list.

the ending of brokeback mountain was stupid and made the whole movie a complete waste of time.
AI is a brilliant travelogue through the future.
jarhead deserved to be nominated in every category available to it.
the opening of moulin rouge is terrible, but the second half is just brilliant.
dogma is KS's best movie.
dogeball isn't as funny as it's made out to be, but still has some good bits. faults appear towards the end as recurring gags are run into the ground.
O is a good teen drama.
hardball is better than the mighty ducks trilogy put together.

Star Wars prequels are a thousand times better than LOTR.

if they had of tried to hang a film on Brendan Fraser they would have been in trouble though [:D] and to be fair the sequel (Returns) was sold on the fact that The Rock was in it.

Serenity, along with Whedon's other "works" are all smug manipulative toss which isn't half as clever as it, or its fans think it is.

Spielberg is one of the greatest directors ever, despite the inevitable backlash a figure of his stature will endure.

Snakes On A Plane isn't funny or cool or clever.

I agree - Godfather 1 is better than 2.

Miller's Crossing is the Coen's best film.

Jurrasic Park is better than Jaws, though both are great.

Punch Drunk Love was dire and I saw nothing new in Adam Sandler's performance that warrented the praise he recieved.

The Phantom Menace is excellent.
Attack of the Clones is better.
Kubrick, Scorsese, Shyamalan and Ang Lee have made more shit movies than good ones.
Woody Allen has never made a good movie.
LOTR is bobbins[:'(]
Alien 3 is brilliant. (Especially the directors cut)
The Simpsons movie is not a good idea
