This is my top 5 (before I see Skyfall) 1. From Russia With Love 2. Thunderball 3. Casino Royale 4. Doctor No 5. License to Kill I hate Moore's Bond, his films are basically a 2 hour cringe for me. The best of his films IMO is The Spy Who Loved Me but it's pretty much ruined whenever Jaws, the most farcical character in the series since Sheriff Pepper, Baron Samedi or Nick Nack (there's a theme here), is on screen. Brosnan was a good Bond but I just don't think he got to appear in a really good film. Tomorrow Never Dies was alrightish but I find Goldeneye massively overrated and it's dated horribly. The less said about The World is Not Enough and Die Another Day the better. Conversely, Lazenby was a poor Bond but got to appear in one of the better films. On Her Majesty's Secret Service just missed out on my top 5. Bonds in order of preference. 1. Sean Connery 2. Timothy Dalton 3. Daniel Craig 4. Pierce Brosnan 5. George Lazenby 6. Roger Moore I rewatched Thunderball last night, the final underwater battle goes on a bit too long but otherwise it's a great film and Connery is the fucking man in it. Definitely his best performance in the role IMO.
