Really, with a franchise like Bond they are enjoyable to an extent. I've never seen a one star Bond film. Anyway, I guess Goldfinger for some of the best moments in the series, followed by GoldenEye for sheer intensity, then followed by From Russia With Love (a Hitchcockian Bond), Dr. No (great baddie and girl) and The Spy Who Loved Me.

1. Goldeneye Superb stuff, great Bond and great villain in Sean Bean. Also features my favourite Bond girl, the stunning Famke Janssen. 'Why can't you just be a good boy and die?' 2. Goldfinger Classic Connery, THE Bond Car, Odd Job, Pussy Galore and or course......... 'Do you expect me to talk ?' 'No Mr.Bond, I expect you to die' 3. Live and Let Die Moore at his least camp, the lovely Jane Seymour, an agressive Yaphet Kotto and my favourite theme tune. 'Names is for tombstones baby!'

Goldeneye...Brosnan before he started looking too old, Sean Bean being bad but not panto bad like in some of the other Bond movies, Famke Jansen and Alan Cumming to boot! "Lovely girl, tastes like strawberries" LOL

tomorrow never dies.its the one where brosnan really made the role his own.its the most action packed,and michelle yeoh is my favourite ever bond girl! oh,and david arnolds fantastic score was awesome!

Well My favourite Bond's are Connery and Moore I have never taken to Pierce Brosnan somehow - I saw him in a couple of films before he was Bond and he was just the same. However, my favourite film is Golden Eye and that was because Sean Bean was starring as the bad guy and he does it so well. Hey, don't apologise. It's really well done-very slick! I guess I have a problem with Jackman playing tough guys-I never really believed him as Wolverine, either. As far as Bond goes, I'm really looking forward to Casino Royale, now that I'm over my "Aw, they didn't pick Clive Owen" snit-Craig looks like the cat's meow. Your son should design all the new Bond posters by the way...excellent stuff! You might wanna stick a "No Parking" sign on your shoes from now on, by the way! Yowch! [:)]

You're not alone. I'd even vote for Timothy Dalton as the best Bond. I love the darkness he brings to the role. I wish they'd kept him on for longer.

It is amazing to me because before I saw the first X Men film I met Hugh Jackman on the stage Acting, Singing and Dancing in Oklahoma playing the part of Curley - it was one helluva transformation. Hang in there he is tough and hard - give him the part and he wall act it in spades. As I said when I can out and about I will go and see the new Bond film - just to see if my opinion was correct or not, although I am not sure how an actor looks like a cat's meow - but I get this feeling I may agree with you ! but time will tell. Now that made me laugh that I may wanna stick a "No Parking" sign on my shoes - big Yowch - I love a dry sense of humour - just one thing about that at the moment - I cant get my damn shoes on - but hope dies hard[:)][:D][;)][8D]

Apart from Goldeneye I thought the Brosnan bond movies got worse and worse, not necessarily Brosnans fault though.

I could not get on with Brosnan at all I saw a couple of his earlier movies just before he became Bond and they were action type films and when he became Bond he was just the same not so hot. My favourite Bond film is in fact Goldleneye but that was because Sean Bean played 006 and he does act the 'baddie' very well. He was also in Lord of the Rings etc.................

The first Bond movie I saw was Octopussy and then Moonraker, I remember really liking the action and the humour and how Roger Moore played a more relaxed Bond. I see you a big Sean Bean fan then, im surprised you dont have a picture of him on your profile... Thought Id fill this out :) makes more sense! Yes I do have a great deal of time for Sean Bean and he is excellent as a baddie. He did a TV series in the UK some years ago called 'Sharpe' and it was brilliant and for Christmas I was given the DVD complete set. He is a very good actor indeed, but you have lead me into this wee story. In 1998 I went to the theatre in London to see my favourite musical 'Oklahoma' and believe me I was in no way prepared for the young man who played Curley. Hugh Jackman played the part and he was awesome - his acting was beyond reproach, his singing was supberb and his dancing - well he did win a Fred Astaire Award for Dancing when he went to Broadway for his performance in The Boy From Oz as well as winning a Tony and Emmy award as well. Imagine my shock when I discovered he was making his mark on the silver screen gently starting with K & L, Swordfish, and the terrific series X Men 1 , 2 and 3 The Last Stand. He has some damn good films lined up for this year and next too. He has looks to die for, the body of a Greek God with the personality, charm and charisma to match and very popular with all his felow actors, directors and crew - those are not my word these I have seen in print more than once. Favourite Bond film: Goldfinger Favourite Bond:SEAN CONNERY- he really did have a Naval background, like Bond. Most underrated film: You Only Live Twice-penned by Roald Dahl, I would have thought this would be more celebrated than it is, in my books. Worst Bond film: For Your Eyes Only (1981) - this was pretty weak, I thought! Best pre credits scene: Goldfinger or The Spy Who Loved Me- probably Goldfinger with that "shocking" one-liner! Best song: Nobody Does It Better, from The Spy Who Loved Me- Love the song more than the actual film. Best villain: Auric Goldfinger, Goldfiner- I like my villians to clevery radiate their opposition! Best henchman; Oddjob, Goldfinger- a character with actions and no words, makes a fine henchman! Best girl: Ursula Andress as Dr No's Honey Ryder Best car: The Aston Martin DB5 from GOLDFINGER- of course! Best baddie lair: Dr No's island. P.S. I'm not a die-hard Bond fan...honest![8D]
