Boring Prophet -> RE: Today I completed... (5/6/2006 7:31:46 PM)

Today I completed RE 4. And then the bastard crashed over the ending credits.

Megalo-who? -> RE: Today I completed... (5/6/2006 9:42:05 PM)

It crashed? What console were you playing it on?

DJ Satan -> RE: Today I completed... (6/6/2006 9:20:36 AM)

Not that unusual/ I think I've managed to crash every console I've had. I've even crashed my 360 four times already.

Ruprecht -> RE: Today I completed... (6/6/2006 9:24:48 AM)

My GameCube never crashed.

Megalo-who? -> RE: Today I completed... (6/6/2006 12:18:56 PM)

I don't believe I have ever had a crash on me, except for the PS2 on Boxing Day. Though I think that was due to faulty first generation units.

Oh, and my Gamecube crashed when playing Majora's Mask, but that's a software issue. Beware, the MM  port is riddled with bugs.

My Gamecube has crashed once while playing Super Smash Bros, and then quite a few times while playing the N64 Zeldas on it.

My PS2 has only crashed once or twice in it's 6 years since the launch date, and my 360 has crashed about 20 times since I got it.

borstal -> RE: Today I completed... (6/6/2006 12:39:15 PM)

my launch day 360 has never crashed.

The reality is that Sony's machines have the poorest build quality, microsofts next and Nintendo's machines have the best.

Try bringing up the dashboard while loading (I get impatient and press buttons). I managed to get Tomb Raider, PGR3 and NFS:MW to crash this way.

That may be true in general, but for me my PS2 has never given me any problems apart from crashing about twice. So Mine actually goes (from best to worst build) Sony, Nintendo, Microsoft.

I guess that's just a one off case though.

Mine does that a lot too, when I get a message or something, and a games loading, I go to look at it and it all freezes up. Most of the time though it hasn't actually crashed and it will eventually begin to work again.

You have the most robust PS2 in existence.

Nope, my replacement PS2 has never crashed on me. Even after messing using a swap magic, which requires the front of the disc tray be removed so you can push the slide tool into the drive.

Astonishing. But then, it is a replacement... [;)]

I'd agree if it weren't for the fact I have a 360 that crashes a lot.

That doesn't really make you unlucky - just one of the norm! [;)]

A replacement for a first generation PS2 that broke on the second day I had it, being Boxing Day. Sony sent it around January if I remember correctly. So it's still a good 5 years old and works pretty much ok. Apart from having a few issues reading the odd copied game, but that's probably down to software again.

Harry Tuttle -> RE: Today I completed... (8/6/2006 11:29:36 PM)

I'm half of "Crossing the Rhine" away from completing COD2 on Veteran, got 1 flak gun and a tank (if I remember correctly) left to destroy.

I can't believe how easy Hill 400 was though. I didn't die once in the 3 stages of it [sm=14.gif]. I was especially dreading the final stage where you have to defend the hill but once you find yourself a foxhole, just stay there, popping out to avoid grenades and to shoot the odd jerry (or 50) every now and again and it's plain sailing.

Harry Tuttle -> RE: Today I completed... (11/6/2006 1:28:38 PM)

Just joined the COD2 Veteran club. Where do I send off for my t-shirt and badge [:)]

Sexual Harassment Panda -> RE: Today I completed... (11/6/2006 1:46:22 PM)

I'm currently in Tunisia (I think) on Veteran, but I got bored of it again. I'll get there eventually.

Sorry for the delay in reply. It was on PS2 but it was just the disc. I cleaned it and it didnt freeze after that.

DJ Satan -> RE: Today I completed... (14/6/2006 8:26:58 AM)

Condemned: Criminal Origins.

Despite feeling very linear at times the game was very, very scary. I even shat myself a few times. One to put under "cinematic experience" rather than good game. I'll still probably play the sequel.

zombiemaster -> RE: Today I completed... (14/6/2006 9:41:06 AM)

Ive just completed resident evil 4 greatest game i have played in ages

Matt_09 -> RE: Today I completed... (14/6/2006 5:48:54 PM)

I have recently completed God of War for the PS2. Great game, although it did seem to drag ever so slightly during the middle section, sometimes feeling too much like a repetative platformer.

9/10

Yeti -> RE: Today I completed... (16/6/2006 9:02:16 AM)

Gitaroo Man. In a fashion.

DJ Satan -> RE: Today I completed... (19/6/2006 12:20:35 PM)

Yesterday I completed Dead or Alive 4 story mode with Helena.

Spektre -> RE: Today I completed... (19/6/2006 12:42:52 PM)

Yesterday (well, a few days ago actually) I completed every mode on Moto Gp 06 on Legend difficulty, collected every bike, passed all the challenges and got to Seed 1.

[:D]

Jules -> RE: Today I completed... (21/6/2006 12:33:18 AM)

Resident Evil 4 on normal difficulty.

Incredible game. Lived up to everything I had heard about it.
