I tried to think of just a few pictures, but there are so many I love it was really difficult even to cut it down to these, so apologies for posting loads! [image]http://img117.imageshack.us/img117/428/chichenitzapyramid2small1fy.jpg[/image] The Mayan Temple Pyramid at Chichen Itza, in the Mexican Jungle. Such an awe-inspiring sight, and very difficult to climb! [image]http://img104.imageshack.us/img104/8923/dowtowncancunbeachsmall7pd.jpg[/image] The Beach in central Cancun, Mexico, at Sunset. Those clouds massing on the horizon meant a tropical rainstorm later that night [:D] [image]http://img164.imageshack.us/img164/2986/downtownaucklandfrombastionpoi.jpg[/image] Downtown Auckland from the cliffs outside the city. I love the way the Sky Tower seems to pierce the clouds - living up to it's name. [image]http://img116.imageshack.us/img116/2395/imgp0825small8ya.jpg[/image] The Sky Tower in Auckland [image]http://img116.imageshack.us/img116/2864/rangitotoandyachtssmall9ps.jpg[/image] Rangitoto Island - a dormant volcano - across Auckland Harbour [image]http://i59.photobucket.com/albums/g306/lisabower/niagarafallsSmall.jpg[/image] Niagara Falls (the Horseshoe Falls part). This was taken in March 2004 when the snow and ice began to melt, but it was still an awesome sight. I love the way the water thundering down shrouds everything in this ethereal, icy mist. [image]http://i59.photobucket.com/albums/g306/lisabower/IMGP1067Small.jpg[/image] Narooma, on the New South Wales Coast, at dusk. A beautiful town, and so peaceful. [image]http://i59.photobucket.com/albums/g306/lisabower/LakeBG_cropped.jpg[/image] Lake Burley Griffen, Canberra, at sunset. I have a whole series of pictures from this walk because the quality of the light was fantastic, but I like the framing of this one.
