Not the first time you see the character but it's definitely his introduction.

Vader's so overrated as an entrance. He just walks through the fucking door, that's it!

You want a real entrance then Frankenfurter is the one to beat.

+1 to this, when he steps into the light and you see his face for the first time it's almost like a villains introduction and you know he is going to be bad ass, it's one of those things thats so brilliant you have to suspect its one of those happy accidents.

Owen the yokel-redneck in Trains,Planes and Automobiles.
A Very minor scene, but one that always cracks me up.

Good shout out for Donnie Darko.
My two favourite scenes of the film were the begining with the Echo and the Bunnymen Killing moon soundtrack, and the Head Over Heels Tears for Fears soundtrack School intro.

Kirks entrance in Wrath Of Khan.
Not a classic intro but one I think deserves a mention.

Any Clint Eastwood film/movie.

boaby -> RE: Best Character Entrance (8/2/2012 2:48:10 PM)

Henry Fonda, Claudia Cardinale, Charles Bronson and James Robards in Once Upon A Time In The West

Discodez -> RE: Best Character Entrance (9/2/2012 3:04:06 PM)

The first time we meet Frank in Blue Velvet.....

Biggus -> RE: Best Character Entrance (30/7/2012 11:46:19 AM)

Iron Man's entrance in The Avengers was cool. You hear Shoot To Thrill blasting over the com and you know what's coming. Plus also Captain America just a few moments before in the same scene.

Dannybohy -> RE: Best Character Entrance (31/7/2012 3:33:55 PM)

Someones already mentioned it but the best ever is surely

The Alien -Chestburst..... in Alien

Both very cool, but lacked the atmosphere of Thor.

"You afraid of lightning?"
"No. Just what comes after it."

UTB -> RE: Best Character Entrance (31/7/2012 5:10:37 PM)

Someone mentioned Clarence Boddiker above but Robocop's entrance was awesome. Perfectly teased right up to the footsteps thumping through the department to the firing of the gun, then you get him catching the keys and driving out to that immense score. \o/

Nexus Wookie -> RE: Best Character Entrance (31/7/2012 5:10:44 PM)

Sherif Ali in Lawrence of Arabia, remains the most beautiful for me...

Indiana Jones in Raiders of the Lost Ark, absolutely brilliant!

Batman in Batman Begins is just awesome and makes me punch the air every time!

LjStronge -> RE: Best Character Entrance (31/7/2012 6:43:24 PM)

If we are talking Robocop then surely ED-209?
