Cockneys, drugs, cheap sun and Fred Perry. Everything many have grown to dislike, yet many more choose to embrace. Throw in a bitch to mess with your head and you've got The Business.
Now a cockney im not and drugs they cost a lot. Cheap sun you you can have and Fred Perry is for the chav, But with the bitch i can relate and all in all this film was great

The Business doesn't even get the fundamentals right: uninteresting characters (especially the lead) plus a very slight and forced storyline do not a good movie make. In addition to these very major issues the film also falls into basically any trap the (not so) new British Gangster movie has to offer - oodles of dialogue involving the words cunt and fuck (note to scriptwriters: that's really not shocking anymore), a soundtrack aimed at substituting atmosphere (which is otherwise badly lacking), an uninvolving period setting and especially loads of characters which are tough as nails supposedly quirky in a dangerous way, but ultimately completely uninteresting and artificial.

Avoid and watch Layer Cake, Sexy Beast or even Gangster No.1 instead.

From the moment the first half-hour kicks in, this immediatley turns into the most contrived, forced, amateur filmed piss-poor rip-off of Scarface one could ever watch. Its so unrealistic, the characters are real nothing people, and the dialogue is just laughable. Not to mention the so-called 'acting' from Danny Dyer. Oh yeah, and just like The Football Factory, its totally mysoginistic as well. Utter shit.

Would nick love please stop thinking that he's (early) guy richie, quentin tarantino and martin scorsese rolled into a perfect little package and at least try to make a film for anyone over 25 (and im UNDER 25!!.).
