I've looked around and I can't find a Buffy thread, and I figure there should be one,
so this is the best tv show ever, my favorite season is ether 2 or 3 I cant decide.
Allthough all 7 seasons are fantastic, my favorite ep is ethier the halloween one from season 2 or the musical one from season 6,
any thoughts on buffy? also Angel rocks

I only really got into Buffy/Angel the last two years or so after buying the complete box sets for my g/f  and as anyone who read my 'official' threads on the old forum will know, the effect it had on me was fucking shocking.

I watched ever episode of Buffy over a couple of months, then did the same with Angel. Then, rather nerdily, after buying the new Angel set last october, I downloaded air-dates and watched both shows intertwined as they were originally shown.[8|] In fact only just finished that epic journey about three weeks ago.

The two shows are, put simply, works of genius. Obviously, Buffy just pips it for consistency/quality but Angel was so unfairly taken off the air that we'll never know where it may have gone.

I've since watched Firefly, Serenity (excellent) and read Fray (again, excellent). Whedon is a Semi-God.

Fave season of Buffy is probably three as it is consistent across the boards (individual episodes, arcs, big-bad, opener, finale etc), but most of these aspects are bettered in other seasons (best big bad: Angelus/Spike (2), best arc: season 5/6, best individual episodes: Hush (4), The Body (5), omwf (6) ).

Seeing the likes of Alyson Hannigan now pissing around in shite like 'Date Movie' actually saddens me. Fingers crossed for 'Unholy' with Nick Brendon to capture some of the since underused talents on this show.

I was lucky enough to watch buffy and angel as it aired. My Fav season for buffy is 5 closely followed by 6, for Angel I think its 4, It could of been 5 if it had not been tragicly cut short. Fav eps for Buffy are OMWF and Tabula Rasa. For Angel Smile Time and Not Fade away.  Fav Character in both series has to be Spike :) Fav Big Bad has to be Glory closely followed by The Mayor/Faith.  Both Firefly and Serenity are brilliant and  Joss IS a Genius :)

I'm a fan as well, obviously!
I love both shows but Angel is my favourite. I could choose loads of favourite episodes but I won't list them all!
Has anyone else been to a convention? They are really great for fans.

I fucking love buffy and angel and i now know that my aim in life is to get every buffy and angel season on dvd and the musical episode and the bad but watchable film even if it kills me!!!!![sm=fighting01.gif][sm=box2.gif]

I LOVE Buffy!!! I managed to convert my entire family to it all (ages ranging from 25 - 75!!) Seasons 2 & 3 were best, the whole thing worked so well at High School with them all meeting in the libary which no other students ever went into!  This will always be the gang..................

Both Buffy and Angel are required viewing in my house.  Fave seasons of Buffy are probably 3 & 4 and season 2 of Angel is pretty fab.  In all honesty though, I pretty much adore every episode of both shows.

Fave character?  Him in my av! [:D]

I Love buffy. The Best TV show of all time!  My Fav Season is Probably 6. Or 5. Maybe 4 or 7. Oh there are all amazing!

Season 3 was the best for me. 'Twas the first I saw, finally giving into peer pressure. So glad I did. The finale with the mayor is one of my favourite episodes of all time.

Great programme, one day will get all series on DVD.
 
Don't have particular series favourites.
 
The episode where Willow is confronted by Xander and he brings her back from the dark side is simply emotional, beautiful, film making.
 
Alyson Hannighan's acting is simply outstanding in that episode.
 
Favourite character is Willow.

 Those episodes were cool especially the bit when she skins warren but the final episode when xanda saves the day that is excelent[sm=happy34.gif]

I love Buffy, I watched it from the start. My favourite season is 3 followed closely by 2 and my favourite episodes are Enemies, Dopplegangland, The Wish, Surprise, Innocence and Becoming parts 1 and 2. I've been recently going on an episode binge- currently watching season 2 again.

Sorry to just jump in here mid-flow but I had to add my adoration of Buffy to the forum.  I was a fan from the beginning and watched all the episodes of Buffy and Angel as they originally aired.  Bought the box set recently and already on the 2nd time round.

Got to say my favourite season is probably 3, closely followed by 2.  Some of the best episodes are Passions, Becomming, Hush, Once More WIth Feeling and The Body.  I think my absolute favourite episodes have to be the 3 at the end of season 3 though - The Prom and the Graduation 2 parter - when all the students dis-robed and you saw that they were armed - that was one of the best moments ever!

yeaah when giles kills ben its scary!and i like how crazy tara calls him a killer earlier in the eppy.
the prom episode makes me cry at the end and i do love both part of graduation day especially the fight between buffy and faith one of the best fight scenes in the whole of buffy and angeldom.

I cry at The Prom too - and I agree about the fight, it's fantastic.  Faith is a great character and I'm so glad she came back for Season 7.  Her and Wood together was hot!
