The special place in hell comment was a retort to Taylor Swift who didn't like a joke they made about her last year and had remarked that there was a "special place in hell for women who don't support each other" (Whereas obviously Tina Fey and Amy Poehler do support each other..)
Was a bit disappointed that Tatiana Maslany didn't win for Orphan Black. That was a very clever performance...or maybe I should say performances.

If anybody was honest, they would admit that 12 Years a Slave, well produced though it is, feels even longer, leaves everybody stone cold, & is only a contender because of Obama; American Hustle may only be shaggy dog story, but the four main players (and De Niro) offer the ensemble playing in the tradition of All About Eve, Lawrence and Network; this Oscar Race is wide open.

Who decides what a comedy or musical is these days... because if anything (and this is at a push) Wolf of Wall Street (due to the way it is written/ portrayed) would be the only film that would make the cut from that list. It seems that (yet again) just because the Globes has a hard on for a few film makers they will put there films in any category just so they would win something.

Pretty much a joke this year just trying to share the awards around just to keep everyone happy?
