Holy fucking shit balls....THAT'S how you do a teaser trailer!!!! I am so happy :)

guysalisbury -> I could not disagree more! (29/10/2013 1:10:41 PM)

This trailer looks pretty drab and is only saved by a pretty cool background track. First Class was rubbish and I don't hold out much hope for this either. Sorry to be so negative but there you have it.

Gazzabrook -> Re:*shivers* (29/10/2013 1:16:38 PM)

totally agree, this film will be legendary, anyone who says there are to many people in this film, well the fact that they each had time in the trailer shows that Singer knows how the balance these, what I also love about this trailer is the true treat is still slightly hidden

badblokebob -> RE: I could not disagree more! (29/10/2013 1:17:56 PM)

This trailer looks pretty awesome, especially with that pretty cool background track. First Class was brilliant and I hope this is just as good.

^ What he said!

That looks like an absolute belter! It was all great but I love it when the old Proff X says to young Proff X - "We need you to hope again!" Gave me goosebumps!! [:D]

jezy -> (29/10/2013 1:34:17 PM)

F#########ck yeah! Can't wait.

ronniem -> Oh yeah! (29/10/2013 1:36:17 PM)

Perfect tone...They chose such a rich storyline....I can't wait.

Kavandclay -> (29/10/2013 1:41:48 PM)

Sunshine sountrack used... AGAIN.

Moonbucket -> RE: (29/10/2013 1:53:34 PM)

I'm not going to dwell on the changes from the comic (which is my favourite X-Men story of all) as I understand why they've went with sending Logan back instead of Kitty since he is the star and a much better known character - and thematically Logan helping young Xavier turns their relationship full circle.

Will be disappointing if we get little of Ellen Page because of this tho, she is a brilliant actress. Good to see Rogue back as well.

Enough in the trailer to entice then and we still have the sentinels and Peter Dinklage's Bolivar Trask to come. Adding the superb Dinklage just rounds out what is an absolutely superb cast.

thepluginbaby -> Dat music (29/10/2013 2:01:07 PM)

Damn it, I get the sunshine soundtrack, that always gets me but what is the second track from? Is it from another movie, or another trailer?

bruised_blood -> RE: Dat music (29/10/2013 2:07:05 PM)

Second main track is from The Thin Red Line, and the final bit is from Inception.

palerider_uk -> RE: Dat music (29/10/2013 2:11:42 PM)

The second piece of music is from inception. I fine track indeed.

What I respect about this trailer, is how they have not thrown any big visual effects shots in. This might be due to the fact that none of them are done yet, but i like to believe that it was on purpose. In post, the trailer shots are the first to be made, as they are the first to be shown. Sometimes they are unfinished, sometimes they change completely for the theatrical version. We can see a few effects shots and set replacements, but nothing "big".
I think it adds an air of suspense to the project. we know it IS ia big VFX film, all the past Xmen films have been.
Great Trailer.

Wonderland. -> Excited...? (29/10/2013 2:23:59 PM)

I am just hoping that there isn't too much of Storm or Rogue. I loved them both so much in the comics and watching the old cartoon series, and then in the films they weren't half as good at all.

I am keen to see how this whole film pans out and what is going on with the young Magneto/Xavier as this trailer suggests they may be in a spot of bother!

Mad Dog Tannen -> Those new mutant characters ... (29/10/2013 4:02:58 PM)

... look really crap.

CharlE -> RE: Those new mutant characters ... (29/10/2013 4:07:20 PM)

I thought it was a well put together trailer. Set the tone for the movie as opposed to showing the whole story. Like that this seemed character driven over effects, but I imagine they'll over compensate with the next one.

TPM007 -> Considering it's the same footage from Comic-Con... (29/10/2013 5:09:53 PM)

...I still would have liked to have seen the same track as Comic-Con, in the form of Hans Zimmer's 'Time'. But that isn't to take anything away from John Murphy's 'Adagio in D Minor' which we get here, which I guess works equally well. No doubt a fan will re-edit it to how it originally was. It's also a shame John Ottman is scoring the film itself - it means Henry Jackman's brilliant Magneto theme from First Class will be no more!

bb -> I'm Not Interested (29/10/2013 6:19:22 PM)

Wolverine has become a VERY over-used character in the X-MEN films, and I am not going to see this film at all. If I was directing this film, I would have used Kitty Pryde instead and told the executives from both Fox and Marvel to go and f*** themselves. Plus, I've lost all respect for Bryan Singer (he's become a victim of his own success).

Cool Breeze -> Loooks good but... (29/10/2013 7:32:31 PM)

...Will they explain why young Eric started speaking in an irish accent when he put on the Magneto helmet and why Prof X is able to walk again when he visits Jean Grey for the first time in the 80s?

d0m_l -> The music in the second half isn't from Inception... (29/10/2013 8:52:18 PM)

... It's from The Thin Red Line: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c6oWoDev7EI Inception for comparison: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RxabLA7UQ9k

UTB -> (29/10/2013 9:50:23 PM)

John Murphy's music is so overused I reckon I could video the dog taking a shit, put this to it and you'd all have doggy doody goosebumps.

Film looks good though.

Silvio Mugabe -> Music sound is good.. that's about it. (30/10/2013 10:37:17 AM)

They should have let Vaughn do his thing. Singer looks like he has just ruined it - 20th Century Avengers Fox. Cynical? me?

And Fox would then replace you as director.

Very good trailer which makes me very interested in the film, despite being a little disappointed with First Class (not least due to the total contradictions to what had occurred in the previous films' without any time travel involved!). I'm just concerned they're dicking about with alternate timelines, etc. and will end up tripping over themselves.

At least they look to have sorted Beast's face out.

Cool Breeze -> RE: I'm Not Interested (30/10/2013 8:09:05 PM)

Good to see Bishop in there.He is a very pivotal character in the DOFP storyline.The guy they got to play him looks just like him!

darth Mango -> What if it was good. (30/10/2013 10:19:39 PM)

X-men Days of Future Past. The trailer is cool and well done. I did get goosebumps and I hope it will be good. I really don't want it to suck. I'm worried it may, but I really don't want it to. Wouldn't it be amazing if it was hands down awesome! What if it perfectly brings together three series of X-men movies into one perfectly balanced epic. I know Kenneth Branagh isn't working on it but it's still possible. What if the fans of the films, the comics and the series unanimously agreed that it was fantastic and given the times, the franchise and the series under them was as good as it could be. And what if it stood the test of time to be THE X-MEN movie worth seeing. That would really be something.
